Gary's son didn't die he was returned to Gary and June that's how Gary found out what happened. Gary died in 2014 from his second stroke. The first stroke affected his ability to talk but he did one final interview where he said he didn't regret offing Steve Ducett and when asked if he would do it again he said "he'll yes" The guys are about to have Jody Plauche on the podcast Donut posted a photo of him with Jody and Jody still has the shirt Gary wore that day

I love the cops weren't even pissed he took a skill shot with them mere feet away. "Why Gary, why?" Nah we all get it.

His son said the cops were upset. Just about the extra paperwork involved. Lol. I mean he was shot under their custody.

Gary's son didn't die. In fact he got the T-shirt and was hanging out with the crew recently.

I took Choi Kwang Do classes as a kid. My instructor was actually charged with chomo too, though I was never a target for him. We had several overnight lock-ins at the dojo, which I now see probably had a more nefarious purpose than I realized.

Oh yes most definitely watch some videos from donut operator. He’s hilarious. Former police officer a Sargent if i remember correctly, so he is very qualified to give feedback on police ‘incidents’. Fat electrician is great too but you’ve already done a couple of his so you already know him. If you want some very good and in depth firearms knowledge check out Forgotten Weapons. Ian McCullum is Gun Jesus for a reason

I would be careful about reacting to any of Donut's police shooting breakdowns, I think YT demonetize all of those videos on his channel and you might also fall victim to unequally applied policy.

What you can't see is that Gary had a 95% chance to hit Jeff in VATS, but chose to use his Critical to hit him, anyway.

On pepper box at the end king trout was scooping up the brains and was putting them back in the dummy and said "we can fix him, stronger and with less lust for children" and that was the funniest thing ive heard in a while

Karate sucked. These days, it's like Taekwondo in that they've been turned into glorified sports than a legitimate self-defense skill. Southern Mantis and Wing Chun are much more realistic in teaching students to defend themselves. However, firearms training is still the most effective means of home defense.

Karate is good for exercise and the unique circumstance of being in a first fight. If you really want to learn self-defense, though, purchase and learn to handle a gun.

Martial arts themselves tend to be worthwhile experiences, as far as it goes, but generally it's not the fighting that's the important part. It's the self control, the stress management, and the situational awareness that's the most important thing you'll learn when doing them. The defensive aspects are great too, no doubt, but for my money as much as I loved the classes I took the social and societal aspects I learned during them are far more applicable in my life. I generally don't need to beat someone down, but talking someone down, or noticing a situation before it gets out of hand, applies way more often. FWIW I didn't take karate, but I did take tae kwon do, judo, and jiu jitsu.
