This work is fundamentally using the words stemming from Storni’s poetry with the interpretation of a unique Cuban voice of Gema Corredera and the rhythm and fervor of the flamenco guitar of Jose Luis de la Paz. Connecting one an another in unique minimalistic tone and cadence that will enhance the poetry.
Together with a rhythmical flamenco code intertwined with jazz (cuban filin) and afro nuances, the flamenco guitar will become both support and a melodic co-protagonist of the narrative of Gema’s voice, in which emotionality jazz-up with popular music becoming one.
