Beautiful clarity in the video. Extremely helpful. Thank you so much!!!!!
What a pain just to change a wheel, And to think I was going to buy one of these ?? Thank You for posting this up fella, I think I`ll get a PX or a Rally, and put a 250 engine in, This had made me realise how much I prefer Bubble side panels.
Great Job!!! I've got the same model and colour. Vespa 4ever.
Extremely well done! Thank you.
thank you so much for this video. truly extraordinary and might I say revolutionary. I am assembling the tools now - thanks.
Excellent video Mitch..thank you!
thanks for this video. you did an awesome job was very helpful
thx mitch!!!greets from Belgium!
Another great video! Thank you so much! You save me a lot of cash!
Great video, great job!! thank you for sharing
Glad to help! Your welcome!
I wouldn't have thought to use a mirror. That certainly makes things easier. This is very helpful.
thank you for the video - greetings from germany!
This really helped me with my 2008 GT 200L. It does not have a wire connected to the exhaust (lamba probe sensor). I did not need the wobble extension for the 10mm to remove the 2 nuts. It was easier feeling the nuts then using a mirror. What worried me was that the 24mm nut was so loose, I removed it with my fingers, not long braker bar. Why was it loose? It did get a flat tire while driving and had to push the Vespa to the garage for a mile or so.
Excellent video!!! Thanks!
u make awesome Vespa maintenance and repair tutorials. straight to the point yet very clear and precise information. I love watching your videos. I have the exact same bike with a sticky/scratchy rear hub. do u think it's the rear brake or hub that needs replacing? thx in advance.
您很细心 做事很认真 感谢您的视频
thanks for the video great help not going to be as dificult as i exepected
awesome! great work
thx for the vid! very helpful!!
Great Job.
Thanks and your welcome!!
Love my GTS 300, but it sure changed from the original idea of Vespa that you could change a tire along side of the road by laying it on its side. Hmmm but what else isnt more difficult to work on with scooters, motorcycles, cars..... good video thank you
Thanks!
This is a great video but makes me want to cry just a little bit for the job ahead of me with my get. Question: could I substitute a clutch holder in the back for the brake, since the brake pads are one of the things I need to get into as well?
When removing the exhaust, did you have to replace the manifold gasket? If so what was the part number? I kind of don't want to order from scooter west. They are rather pricey.
Perfekt Video !!
You really must make many more of those videos! I have owned a vintage Vespa for decades, and I could take it apart blindfolded. But with the new Vespa (I recently got a brand new, never driven 2007 GTV) I am like a fish out of water. Thank you so much, again. BTW, can one rotate front and back tires like on the old Vespa's? My back tire is wearing thin after only 2000 kms.
Great vid, hope I never have to do this roadside though ;-)
that's awesome! GTV is a sweet one! What color? I never thought about rotate the front and back tires... hmm... both tires are not the same size. I will always post more videos about vespa and other scooters whenever I work on them again :) I need to catch up with editing on MP3 videos
Thanks Bob :) was in Houston a week ago picked up a scooter :-P

MicBergsma lo
Thanks for the video mic! maybe a stupid question but why do you remove the entire exhaust from the cilinder on, and not only the last part. This is much easier and should create more than enough space. Or do i forget something? Keep up the good work!
Your welcome!!
much easier to split the exhaust after the manifold than remove the manifold as in this video, the chance of damaging one of the studs is pretty high if the pipes been on a long time and the second stud is a pig to get to...
@duPAttes thanks!
not a problem :)
Your welcome!
You're a genious! Great vids you have, dude!
We don't have GTS 125cc in US
welcome guys!
yeah and I removed some panels to have better view from my camera to let people to get idea what they need to do
@rbuss1956 yeah I know, vino is easy to take wheel off... I have vino too I am not sure if you saw my vino videos

Brian Moore vespa have gone backwards with this bike, mine is dropping to bits and is a pain in the arse to work on. the px's are so much better. They're also prone to rear wheel punctures, at which point it's game over.

So glad I watched this. Like so many manufacturers, Vespa seems to be losing the plot - just very poor design in my opinion. Was seriously considering buying one but not after seeing this. Excellent video by the way - thank you.

Great video. Modern Vespas are more difficult to work on compared to the old P for example........ but it’s a modern four stroke automatic that’s much faster and safer than the old design. I love working on my GTS and I love riding it too. Best scooter ever made.
haha good to know
Pays to carry a canister tyre inflated then 🤔
Ottimo lavoro ma prima di rimontare tutto bisogna pulire bene, non si rimonta la roba sporca!
Possibly the worst self help video ive seen. there is no need to remove the entire exhaust system, one nut and three star screws and the muffler comes off! No need to cut any wire ties or worry about any wires. The hardest part is getting the nut off the end of the axle since the wheel will turn freely. I blocked the tire with a wedge and used an improvised impact tool to remove it. The shock has to be removed (the reason I watched to begin with as I couldn't remember if it was necessary to totally remove it.) Hey Brian Moore, glad you didn't buy a Vespa, more for us!

Russell Locke oh thanks
Not relevant to my GTS 300. The removal of any body panels, rubber cover at step through, under seat storage compartment, wiring to exhaust, are all unnecessary. Simply loosen the 17mm exhaust clamp nut, remove the (3) size 40 Torx screws, lower shock bolt, the swingarm plate, then the wheel. No clearance issues, no hanging wires, no stand required. I wouldn't want anyone getting the impression this is difficult or complicated. It's easy.
I own some tools: a hammer, 2 screwdrivers, and a vice grip. Why do I even bother looking at these videos...?
Wow that chick can wrench !
