Vespa GT200 How to Coolant Flush DIY Beginner
Here's my how to do a Vespa GT200 coolant flush. I'm a beginner at Vespa maintenance so I followed the instructions of @Mitch's Scooter Stuff
His how to video is • Vespa GTS Coolant Flus...
He lists links to buy what you need to do a coolant flush. Thanks Mitch! Thanks MicBergsma!
His video shows a GTS. My video shows how to do a coolant flush on a GT200. *Note: The GT200 does not have the air bleeding screw like the GTS. So the GT200 is self air bleeding. I did not remove any hoses for air bleeding.
Since I'm a mechanic noob leave a comment if you have tips or advice.
Please subscribe for future maintenance videos showing....If I can do it....you can do it!

its good to see those channel lock pliers made in the usa
Very cool I was wondering about the bleeding screw on this model 👍 just picked one up yesterday
Yay Pam!
Good job GoPam on the flush and the video, entertaining as usual. I probably would have poured some of the new coolant into the system while the water pump cover was off - until it ran solid yellow (I think this was the color of your new coolant) - this would have flushed out some of the water. You waste a little coolant but it's cheap. This is not critical by any means. Also, you might have mentioned that the coolant needs to be taken to a proper disposal facility (usually your autoparts store). Drain dumping is not cool (ant). Also, NEVER leave coolant around uncovered - super deadly (and, sadly, tasty ) to all critters. Using gloves as you did is always a good idea on almost all scooter work - most chemicals are readily absorbed straight through your skin and end up in your liver as bad news. That scooter sure is clean :)
👍 you did good Pam especially with a hurt wing.
Very Nice Legs . Thanks for the video . If you took off the bottom panel , above the muffler , you could have pulled out the pump housing further , and the o ring replacement would have been easier . I learned from this video that you don't have to bleed the air out , like on the other Vespa's . Thanks . Vespa recommends doing this every 2 years to prevent rust issues . If you use American Antifreeze , 50-50 , like they recommend I think it can go much longer .
"Get those Corrode-deez!"
cool video. you did a good job. can I make a suggestion, though? do not get coolant anywhere near living plants. consider changing it farther away from your lawn next time. and, of course, keep animals away from it. keep the videos coming.
Well done! I really liked ur determination to fix it even though u had a bad hand. 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
Thank you
Good job.
I like!!
Awesome work GoPAM! I only have a 150 so don't have to manage coolant but watching you struggle with the blind access to the o-ring made me wonder how much simpler would it have been to just loosen the hose clamps and pull the housing cover off once drained? Possibly a better question for @scottTheLegendTaggart?
I've watched 5 coolant flush videos on YT so far and I've seen blue, pink, orange and green coolant. I thought it was supposed to only be pink.
Hello, I did a radio twiz today and I handled it like you. But around
What sort of GoPro mount/harness did you use to film while working on the scoot?
