VERY RARE SEM 2 siren test in Videauban, France
Recorded : June 5th, 2024
This is the monthly test of the siren of Videauban in France. It is tested every first wednesday of every month at 12:00 (french time).
Oddly enough, it sounded off 3 minutes early, so i didnt catch the startup, sorry about that. I will now start filming 4 minutes before the normal test time to avoid this happening again.
Recorded by me, not someone else. Mind you.

Great job, nice to see and hear some rare French sirens. Btw, do you plan to record the 10-port siren in Nizza on top of the hill some day?

it appears there are no towns named Nizza in france, if its not in france, i will sadly not be able to. i film sirens in the Var as thats where i just so happens to live, so any siren in the Var that i have not filmed is welcome. my plan for next month is Vins-Sur-Caramy, which has a regular Demay R3P siren, tho, there is a EXTREMLY rare CEN siren in Gonfaron, which i have plans to film in the future, these sirens also have extremely fast motors, so they sound like almost 15 ports or more at this point, and they do have 10 ports on both the rotor and stator. theres another siren on a hill in Montmélian, but its very far away from where i live, that one appears to be a PTR, but is 8 port. if you have a google maps link to the Nizza siren and that its in france, id be happy to see it, since in most cases, i can identify what siren it is.

FOLLOWUP : apparently, some people call "Nice" "Nizza" which is intresting, and that 10 port siren , if it is the one in Nice, then yes i am aware of it, it is a PTR siren. i may film it in the future, i did already see it in person one time and took photos, i still have them.
