You did an outstanding job! The bracelet came out perfect. In addition, I was laughing, because, you sound like me in reference to "securing" your bracelet. It's true though. I recall one tutorial where the person said, "You all make fun of me at times, because of how I secure my bracelets. But do you know what it is like, to have one of your pieces mailed back to you and they ask for it be resown, and you can't remember where you started?" LOL! So, Wendy, I'm with you on that one!

I'm so glad I finally got to watch this video! I love this look but hated using chain. Trying to get all the dangles just so and up close to the chain with all the head pins was just too fiddly for me. I never even thought about using this method! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Can't wait to try it. As for the clasp. I saw on a video from Kellie's Bead Boutique that she adds a few jump rings to the bar part to help it go through the hoop easier. I tried it on a bracelet I made for my sister and she says it helps so much! I was thinking about getting some xuron pliers for my birthday and now after reading all the comments I think I will. I also buy my fireline in the fishing department. :)

Wendy, that is a gorgeous bracelet in one of my favorite colors! When I get down to a low bit of thread and have trouble making my knots, I switch to an 11 short needle. It helps makes the knots. At the Gem Show here back in February, I got some new crimping pliers that were highly recommended. They are called Om Tara Beading Pliers and are not hugely expensive, about $35. The only Lindstrom tool I own is a pair of micro round nose pliers that I also got at the Gem Show. They were highly recommend and were around $45. I have also heard good things about the Xuron pliers. 💖🌷💍💎

Wendy, I have been beading for 20+ years. My first set of pliers were Lindstrom pliers. I used only for about 1 month. I actually went to beadalon pliers. they are great. priced good. about 10+ years ago, before, Xuron was recommending use for their pliers as jewelry making pliers. I came across them in a remote control hobby shop. I started using them right away for making my jewelry. You are still looking at a little pricey considering one pair pliers run about $20-$30. Depending ware you buy them. they are my go to pliers though. I have wubbers and many different sets by different manufacturers. My recomendation is go to your local craft store and handle the pliers. you will find that you need to buy a set that is compfortable in your hands. I use certain brand for certain projects and others for other. I have no one type as to use at all times, I hope this helps. handeling the pliers first is the key to knowing what will work for you. Just because they work for a friend may not always work for you. everyone has different hands.

I have a ton of blue beads and would love to have the 11/0's that you used to make a bracelet like yours! Thank you so very much!❤Beth Ann

I'd probably put $20 on it because it has a LOT of beads on it. But it's kinda crooked lol. I didn't measure right and the flower isn't centered. A perfect one would be around $20.

@@wendyscraftingfriends I don't think it matters about the flower center on because you can't really tell when its on. Thanks for answering, I'm loving following you as you are funny, smart and down to earth! I very much enjoy your broadcasts!
