My father was 19 in that war where he was shot. He didn't make it home alive. I feel so damn proud to be his son!❤❤❤

A hero is still a hero, and death cannot change that.
I like Pvt..Malone boughta Corvette just as I went to Vietnam in 1969. I was fortunately and came back But Respect to Pvt. Malone.
My husband is a Vietnam Veteran. He was with the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam. So thankful he made it back home. This song definitely makes me cry.

Semper Fi to your husband.
The sad thing about Vietnam was the way so many Soldiers were treated when they came home. My Father was retired Air Force and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. My oldest Brother served during Vietnam. Lucklt niether were sent to war. My Brother was sent to England
My family members had friends who never got back from 🇻🇳 Vietnam. May they rest in peace!
Great reaction. It doesn't matter how many times I ssee the video or hear the song - it always gets to my emotions.
My dad died in Vietnam and this song always makes me think of him . He was in country when I was born. He was a Medic and was Running to get two more guys when he was hit by shrapnel and was killed .
If you're reading this, tim McGraw. Letters from home, John Michael Montgomery.
Recommend: Most Awesome Patriotic Song Ever. Johnny Cash "Ragged Old Flag" by Good Stuff.
Love this song. It does make me cry though. It was a brutal war. There were so many ways the Vietcong fought that were never done before. They were sadistic according to my late husband and brother. I feel my husband with me whenever I need him. It's been 11 years.

I feel for your husband and brother. The war (and all war) is brutal on everyone. Might not support their politics, but the Vietcong were fighting for their homeland. As for tactics not tried before, we're the only country to ever drop nuclear weapons on a population, and we did it twice decades earlier. There's a lot of atrocity, heartbreak and reflection to go around. War is brutal, full stop.
I think you would like the song Letters From Home as sung by John Michael Montgomery. Do watch the music video.
😭 I haven’t heard this in so long. My dad is a Vietnam Vet and I am grateful to have him.🙏
Great reaction. Love this song. David Ball songs " Thinkin' problem" , " Look what followed me home", " When the thought of you catches up with me" , " Honky tonk healin' "
5 finger death punch , Wrong side of Heaven, very powerful military song

Thank you Jesse, and god bless you too!
Dang it I just missed you. It's almost midnight here. I'm thinking it's 6 or 7 am there. So howdy and good morning to you. Love you accent. Not making a pass. I had an Aunt that was from England. I don't know if the UK and England are the same or different areas. My world geography is rusty I apologize. Love your reactions. You love country... I recommend Patsy Cline, George Jones, all the Outllaws from the 70s. And 90s country definetly. Well you get my drift. Lol God Bless
Love this song, and appreciate your reaction cheers.
Some more great David Ball songs from the 90’s- Thinkin’ Problem, Look what followed me home, Honky Tonk Healin’- all are classic country two step dancing tunes!
You are now my second favorite British guy 😢😂😢😢😢❤❤ 🤩🙏
I like this song a lot because it reminds me of my own moment with my old beat up truck, I named it Bob. Always felt like someone was riding with me. Fell asleep one night driving home on a winding road. I swear I heard someone shout to wake up and I was still on the road thank the gods.
Brooks and Dunn BELIEVE if you haven't heard it. Also....Angel Flight by Radney Foster.
My grandpa was a Colonel in the Army during Vietnam.
Country music = story telling.

Another amazing reaction!! Is that a Dallas Cowboys hat you're wearing?? If so, Go Cowboys!! I live in Texas near Forth Worth not too far from where they play. You're really crankin' out the videos!! Keep 'em comin'.
Your expressions are so wonderful watching these videos. These songs are very near to the heart.
My brother-in-law was shot by friendly fire in Vietnam. He says even though he has had problems ever since then from his injuries it was the luckiest thing that ever happened to him. He was only in Vietnam 18 days when he was shot and he says he doesn’t think he killed anyone while there (my brother-in-law was a great shot). So yes he has physical problems but he has never suffered from flashbacks or PTSD so mentally very lucky.
I see you like the storyteller in music. There is a very oldie who is great. He is Red Sovin & 3 of his song's stand out.Little Rosa,Teddy bear,& Phantom 309.
Thank you ... from US Westcoast 🥰
Love this song and story

Love it just request it 20 minutes ago. Someone beat me to it.
i absolutely love your channel and it is made better by your sincere, quiet, intelligent reactions. You have a great personality for a reaction channel. You will be very successful. I wish you the best. This is an awesome song and has been on my playlist for ages! Thank you very much!
My brother in law was in Vietnam War. He went in 1966, right out of school. He did come home, but died at 47 from cancer. The family was given $250 to help bury him. The government can give people that don't belong here money food, houses, but they won't bury their dead. So disgraceful.
Thank you for your heartfelt reaction. Trace Atkins has a lot of patriotic/military themed songs you would appreciate
I have always loved this song.
OMG! I've not heard this song in a long time! Thank you for this reaction ✌❤🎶
