Nice to see a bus driver being helpful, even to people who don't in the end actually get on your bus. And (17:00) letting people off when stopped at lights for roadworks; many a jobsworth would have waited until they were exactly at the stop, and then probably have to wait while the lights turned red again 😑

Thank you Thomas for an extremely enjoyable video! I traveled on this route about 25 years ago. Then the 842 was a 12 metre bus running every 30 minutes! Now it is articulated buses running every 15 minutes! More proof that Swiss public transport is the best in the world! There is a KZread channel (run by a Canadian living in Amsterdam) about cities and transport in the Netherlands called 'Not Just Bikes'. Perhaps you Thomas should start a channel about Swiss cities and transport entitled 'Not Just Trains'.

interessant mit der S-Bahn von Zürich nach Uster und dann mit der Bus von Uster nach Esslingen und jetzt mit der S18 von Esslingen nach Zürich Stadelhofen das würde dann heißen einmal Normalspur einmal Straße und einmal Meterspur aber zuerst mal die gepflegten Anlagen des Bahnhofs Esslingen anschauen 🙂👍
