The big planet Koboh is so massive. I've been exploring it for like 6 hours at least and I'm still only 20% done. Then we have a few other planets in the game that are supposedly larger than Zeffo in the first game.

@@thatvrdude1856 Here's a tip, Koboh is filled with areas you can't go to until you obtain abilities through the story so I'd play through the story a bit before exploring too much. Half of the time I was running into dead ends. Still a fun experience though.

Im glad they added gibbing, its something that was noticeably lacking from the first game. Its a small touch but it just feels weird when you’re slicing with a lightsaber and it just knocks them around like a club

i do appreciate the background stuff like just how massive and nice looking the environments look

Me personally I’ve been running this game on ps5 and I’m about 3-4 hours in, I have had no performance issues and the game has been fucking phenomenal. So far it’s been my favourite game I’ve played since Elden ring.

I’m 5 hours in so far on PS5. Koboh has been really fun to explore and the saloon is really wholesome. The combat feels amazing. On a first run I’m not going on the highest difficulty and it’s still presenting a decent challenge here and there. I’ll probably bump the difficulty up soon but I’m also getting used to the game. I haven’t played Fallen Oder yet, only seen clips of it. I’m really enjoying it and I haven’t had any performance issues at all besides extremely minor stuttering here and there. Half a second of stuttering every half hour to 45 minutes.

Thankfully for me I got stuck on fallen order on the first planet in 2019 then replayed it a week ago completely for my friend to tell me survivor comes out in a week 😂😂😂 so I’m fresh with the story I absolutely love Star Wars

I'm a good 15 hours in on PS5 and this is the first I've heard of performance issues, it's been running flawlessly on ps5. Hopefully that gets fixed on other consoles cuz it's been ages since I've played such a fun game and I hate that other people aren't having fun because of that

I hate to say it, but on a 3070 i barely get 60 fps. Feels like 40, I've tried lots of different things and I just can't seem to get it under wraps. My friend has a 3050 and they run it wayyy better than me. Not sure what's going on, hopefully I figure out what I'm doing wrong, or if it's not me, hopefully an update either for the game or my graphics card. I'm still able to play, I've beat up to the 3rd story boss(Jedi Grandmaster btw :), but on the lowest graphics settings. Very sad, but the game is still good. Loving the new mechanics that they introduced.

Man idk if it’s just me but I could not stand the first game and this new style of Star Wars games. I’ve played every one but this one just feels off and improper, like every story beat could’ve been 10x more interesting had they not made the decision to make every main enemy a nobody that just annoys me to make them stop talking more than driving me to stop them at all. Personally just not a fan, even after playing the entire first game all the way through

I enjoyed the first one. Once I started revisiting locations I wanted it to end. Great combat but wasn’t engrossed in the story. This one looks more or less the same.

The first one was much more linear, the maps were a decent size but you couldn’t go wherever you want like you can in the new game. It’s much more open world. And there are side quests in the new one as well. It’s a much better open world game then the first one, just speaking as someone who’s like 7 hours in it’s a much better game then the first. I recommend it. Plus you can customize literally everything. I was surprised by the amount of customization there is.

Basically Crash Bandicoot with a light saber. lol... I just can't get in to it. I've played this game with different themes and skins so many times since the early 2000's. You got your ledge shimmy, You got your air dash, you got your move stuff so you can jump on it to get to a higher ledge. lol.. It's go all the main stream cookie cutter mechanics. I don't get the hype for this new Tomb Raider game. lmao...This is what you get when someone reads how to make a game for dummies. Text book out dated mechanics that have been around since Nintendo.

The same company making this game could make optimised games before, so therefore it wouldn’t be egotistical to assume that this game should run decent, plus this “ego” you’re talking about probably comes from the fact that they bought expensive parts which negates low performance in games, if you’re spending lots of money for games to run well, you would want your games to run well, so the ego isn’t unwarranted

@@chaTzon it’s not the pc gamers fault the game isn’t optimised, it’s the devs who make the game. Let’s say a car has just been made and it is the same price as the rest of the cars of its supposed capabilities, but it didn’t go even a quarter the speed of what’s advertised and it uses more fuel than advertised, it would be unfair for the customer to have to deal with that, since the other cars at the exact same price can do the things it can’t. Same thing with buying a game which is full price but not getting full price quality. You’re paying for something that is the same price as other games that can run much better, but by your logic pc gamers somehow deserve this because of their ego, but your definition of their ego is basically “pc gamers expect the games they play to be playable to a certain extent, and the pc gamers with high end rigs that in theory should definitely be guaranteed a decently smooth experience all deserve to have poorly optimised games because they expect the bare minimum” what you’re saying just doesn’t make sense.

It sure does. Either StarWars jedi games need to go M-rated to allow for intense realistic combat which would include decapitations and realistic dismemberment, or they seriously need to improve level design. This looks like a rail-based walking through corridors endless slog.

You cant keybind the movement keys, so the many thousands of people who use arrow keys to move becuse we have 12 buttons on our mouse are fucked. Gonna have to refund if they dont fix soon.
