And, in my opinion, he achieved that goal perfectly, as you said at the end, the frozen time it's over, it's time to move on with the beautiful souvenirs on our heart/mind, it's just wonderful. Chen is a 1000/10 artist definitely 🥺

As beautiful as I knew it would be. I really appreciate the inclusion of the elderly man and his cat in the mv. People don’t always understand how significant the loss of a companion animal can be. It seems such a Chen thing to think of it.

as much as we love Chen's voice, we also need to appreciate how good a lyricist he is. you can really see and feel how sentimental he is writing lyrics. he's a great storyteller. btw, he had a itslive performance of Empty just released too. hope you can check it out.

It was crying hours yesterday when the MV was released. Such a beautiful looking video that looks like a movie. This is the first MV and album release for INB100, the company Baekhyun started at the beginning of the year. Chen and Xiumin’s solo projects are with his company. Chen performed Empty on It’s Live today and sounded amazing. I’m looking forward to your full album deep dive this weekend.

Vocal King of Ballad is back. His voice has a unique charm. His duet is very beautiful. They go together even though they don't know who the other person is and like to sing difficult songs. The high and low keys switch all the time. And the singing voice communicates the emotion of the song very much. Lots of Harmony. It's perfect. This one had me in tears right from the start because my dad passed away in 2015 and we were very close, as was all my family. We always took pictures and growing up I looked forward to the day I got married and taking pictures of my dad walking me down the isle or dancing with me for the father daughter dance. Sadly he passed away before any of that could happen. Even 8 yeas later I still get emotional but with time I have also learned to think of all the happy times as well and I have tons and tons of pictures taken through the years. Man, Chen just has a way of unlocking that emotion in someone. This song is beautiful.

I have his I'll Be There and Empty as continuation of the grieving process. I discovered Exo after a devastating loss and they have filled my life, encouraged me to go out and explore the world. The song just hits home and although sad at first, the song is comforting. Yes we go about our days with the wonderful memories of those we lost and have the new people, including exo to fill the emptiness.

Your focus on Chen's vocal details is great , thank you sir , for real Chen can deliver feelings through his strong, soulful voice, in the high and low notes. He can really control his strong voice. Please Chen's reaction on new live singing show “Secret Duet” It was a surprise to get singers who didn't know who the opposite person were to sing a collab, and Chen did a great job. He can sing in wonderful, beautiful harmony. He sings with power and ease without trying to move the keys. And he can adjust the key range of the sound to match the opposite side perfectly. Really great, no matter how difficult the song is, it's goosebumps.
