There is an unexplained gravitational Anomaly in the Indian Ocean. It is called the Indian Ocean Gravity Hole. Due to this gravity-hole Sea Level in this area is 106 meters below the rest of the places. Scientists were unable to find the reason for this phenomenon for a very long time. But last week, two Indian scientists announced that they have found the reason for this phenomenon.
This phenomenon may be caused due to an Ancient ocean that sunken into Earth Millions of years ago. Find out more about this in this video.

ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ ഗ്രാവിറ്റേഷണൽ ഫീൽഡിന് വളരെ വലിയ ഒരു Anomaly ഉണ്ട്. Anomaly എന്ന് വെച്ചാൽ അസ്വാഭാവികത, അപാകത എന്നൊക്കെയാണ് അർഥം. The Indian Ocean Gravity Hole എന്നാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റേഷണൽ anomalyയെ വിളിക്കുന്ന പേര് . 30 ലക്ഷം ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ ഏരിയയിലാണ് ഇത് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്.
ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റേഷണൽ anomaly കാരണം Indian oceanഇലെ ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ സമുദ്ര ജല നിരപ്പ് ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് വലിഞ്ഞ പോലത്തെ ഒരാവസ്ഥയിലാണ് ഉള്ളത്. അതായത് ഇവിടുത്തെ sea level ഭൂമിയുടെ മറ്റു ഭാഗങ്ങളെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് 106 മീറ്ററോളം താഴെയാണ്.
ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റേഷണൽ ഹോളിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള വാർത്തകൾ പത്രത്തിൽ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, ഇത് ഇനി വല്ല ബെർമുഡ triangle പോലെ വല്ലതുമാണോ എന്ന് ചില സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ ചോദിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
Indian Oceanഇൽ ഉള്ള ഈ gravity ഹോൾ എങ്ങിനെ വന്നു എന്നുള്ളതിന് ഒരു വിശദീകരണം കണ്ടെത്താൻ ഇത് വരെ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.
കോടിക്കണക്കിനു വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് ഭൂമിക്കടിയിലേക്ക് താഴ്ന്നു പോയ ഒരു പുരാതനമായ സമുദ്രം ആകാം ഒരുപക്ഷെ ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റി ഹോളിനു കാരണം എന്നാണ് ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ കണ്ടെത്തൽ.
അതായത് ഇന്ന് ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാ സമുദ്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് കോടിക്കണക്കിനു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു മുൻപ് Tethys എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു പുരാതന സമുദ്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആ സമുദ്രത്തെ ഭൂമിക്കടിയിലേക്ക് താഴ്ത്തിയാണ് Indian ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡം ഏഷ്യൻ വൻകരയുമായി ചേർന്നത്. ഈ സംഭവത്തിനു ശേഷം പുതുതായി രൂപം കൊണ്ട സമുദ്രമാണ് Indian ocean. ഭൂമിക്കടിയിലായി പോയ Tethys സമുദ്രമാകാം ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റേഷണൽ ഹോളിനു കാരണം എന്നാണ് പുതിയ കണ്ടെത്തൽ

താങ്കളുടെ ഈ അറിവിനോട് 50 % ഞാൻ യോജിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട വിഷയമായതിനാലും കൊല്ലങ്ങളായുള്ള എന്റെ അന്വേഷണത്താലും പറയുകയാണെങ്കിൽ BC 1000 വർഷത്തിനു ശേഷം കാന്തികശക്തി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട അനേകം ഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ പലസ്ഥലത്തായി പതിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അല്ലാതെ സ്ഥാനചലനം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതായി കരുതുന്നില്ല. കരുതാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ട്. അറിവ് ഇവിടെ പങ്കു വയ്ക്കാം. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വടക്കുഭാഗത്ത് ഹിമാലയ പർവ്വത നിര ഉണ്ടായത് തീദീസ്സ് കടലിന്റെ മുകളിൽ ഒരു ഗ്രഹം പതിച്ചത്‌മൂലമാണ്. ഒരു ഗ്രഹം പതിക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് വന്നു വീഴുകയല്ല. കറക്കത്തിൽ ബാഹ്യഭാഗം തൊട്ട് നിരനിരയായി വീഴുന്നു. അതിൽ ആന്തര ഭാഗമാണ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ തലഭാഗം. മറ്റൊന്ന് കേരളത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചിമതീരത്ത് BC 1341 ൽ ഗുജറാത്ത് മുതൽ ശ്രീലങ്ക വരെയുള്ള തീരദേശം അതിന്റെ ആന്തര ഭാഗമാണ് ശ്രീലങ്ക. മറ്റൊന്ന് ഗൾഫ് നാടുകൾ അതിന്റെ ആന്തര ഭാഗമാണ് തൊട്ടടുത്ത മലനിരകൾ . അങ്ങിനെ മറ്റു പല ഭൂഖണ്ഡങ്ങളുടെയും അടുത്ത് കടലിൽ ധാരാളം ഉൽക്കകൾ പതിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Then I found science (esp. physics) intersting and Physics became easy to me. Many of your videos including 9th standard physics (equations of motion, laws of motion, gravitation) helped me a lot in my studies too.
