Using my sons account. This music reminds me of my late mother Ba Margret Mulenga who went to be with the Lord in 1992. She used to play a lot of this Music and am in UK aged 41 years and enjoying to this music on Palm Sunday 2021. May the Souls of all these Musicians rest in Peace.

The year is now 2021, the month January and the Real Kalindula Music on this playlist is a truly Zambian experience. Reminds me of Kalindula back in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990's when Zambian musicians used to ACTUALLY play music and not mime their own music on computers and the like. Love this music, always reminds me of Zambia back in the 80's

Everytime I listen to this mix i remember my Zambian dad who would wake up early every weekend on his off days to make breakfast for us and these tunes and the smell of sausages and eggs is what would wake me. This was in the early 2000s in chingola copperbelt when I was about 6 years. Playing this makes me miss him since he passed. love you forever Dad, hope youre dancing to such tunes wherever you are ))

This day is 04/01/2024 nd the music am playing on this playlist of kalindula has the experience of real Zambian music played wen I was just a boy in 1980s nd early 90s. It was played for intertainment at the same time teaching how a true Zambian should live with others. May their soul continue ( the composers) to rest in peace. God bless Zambian music of those days. Happy New Year 2024 till we meet again.

We grew up in Zim calling this genre Kanindo music. Not sure of the etymology of that name! Our own Bhundu Boys had a hit in this genre with a sing entitled Faka Pressure! First song is banger! I love this! Thank you for your service 😅

Twalilufya ing'omba ishineshine, kashi sendame mucibote cha kwa Lesa😭. The real Zambian music was so soothing, educative, issue based and still resonates with the current state of affairs. The music was released more than 20/30 years but still remains very relevant. Not the so called modern Zambian music (or more appropriately 'organised noise') which comes with an expiry date. Talk of the stage names the "modern artists" one would think it's some discontinued Japanese vehicle make, some buggy windows mapping app, a character from Chronicles of Narnia or Frozen, a medieval insult or worse a description of nothing....

Kalindula music for life.....it touches my soul. It reminds of my dad who would switch on his radio early morning every day as he prepares to go for work and we would all wake up to the fine tunes of Kalindula music, music so educative and inspirational. The music that never fades.
