Werner Herzog talks about his plans to build a circle made out of huge standing stones a la Stonehenge around Wagner's Bayreuth opera house. In addition, he also planned to shoot a laser beam from the opera house' stage right across Bayreuth, through a local church, and all the way to Sicily.

I think that some DVD editions of Lohengrin directed by Herzog have a bonus disc with this documentary film.

@@Nishtavishe Do you happen to know which one? I've been looking at various DVD editions on Amazon for the past half hour but I can't find any reference to a bonus disc or this doc.

@@fynriel2678 Sorry, a friend made a copy of this DVD a long time ago, I have no way of knowing where the original DVD came from.
