@krishood2127 @nataliewalker9682 maybe it's also the crown? very similar to how Elinor's headpiece is in the movie? Disney is known for repainting scenes from old movies into newer movies to reuse movement and such, so I can see them reusing silhouettes and such as well

The Shop Disney Wish dolls are wearing nicer clothing and their faces resemble the characters more closely. Mattel continues to use cheap fabrics to fashion clothing for all their doll lines these days. It’s sad that the quality is no longer there. Thanks for the great comparison video. I plan to purchase the Wish dolls from Disney for grand- nieces for Christmas.

Yeah, it really annoys me when the character clearly has layered clothing, and Mattel just "draws" the layers on. It's incredibly cheap and lame! /: When she showed the Disney version, I got excited! Finally, she has layered clothing as intended!

Thanks for the review! I'm so bummed that disney couldn't make Asha's underskirt attach better or be full length underneath! So many kids are going to get frustrated trying to dress her and having a leg pop through that hole. The Disney store dolls do have better faces, in my opinion. I LOVE the Doorables Star! So cute!

The skirt was a little bit of an issue when dressing her 😅

I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but I like the Mattel dolls a little better. Disney tends to paint the irises and the pupils so the dolls look a bit cross-eyed. I have an ILY doll with painted eyes and I can't get past the cross-eyed look. Just my opinion.

I kinda prefer the Mattel ones too, because the clothes fit Barbie the best 😅

My daughter loves the Mattel Asha doll because of the satchel you can put either the carrot or Star into, the book (that also fits the carrot or Star inside), and the Valentino with the tongue and working back legs. I gave the Asha doll necklaces and also painted the details on her belt and she looks great! To me, the Disney Asha looks crossed eyed and the short cuts taken on the clothing/hair is not worth the higher price. Dahlia’s face is cuter on the Mattel doll, but it is very disappointing that she only has articulation in one arm. So far I just have the Mattel Asha doll with the cute accessories and the petite Asha doll. Not sure if we will get any of the others. It’s too bad that the Mattel King’s cape is so lacking. Thanks for the video!

Queen Amya’s dress would look so cute as a fairytale wedding dress for the dolls or Summer

The Disney ones definitely look better and are more accurate to the animation but the Mattel ones would probably be more playable

I prefer the Disney ones, and in fact, those are the ones I have; I love the extra detail in them. And personally, I don't like those big eyes, the Disney mold is closer to the appearance of the characters in the movie and that's how I like it. But probably if I can I will get the king and queen but from Mattel, maybe also Asha, but Dahlia doesn't catch my attention much in her Mattel version. The best thing about that brand's version is that the fabric is very soft, which is something that the Disney ones don't have.

I like the Disney king and queen but the main characters in Mattel.

With the Disney store king, if you want to put him on a made to move body, you could cut off the sides of his head and then he can look up and down.

Where are you from? I think you can get them at a store called Liverpool for a much more reasonable price. That's where I got mine from, but I don't know if there are those stores outside of Latin America if you're not from here.

💖💖💖💖💖💖6:13 King Magnifico is BETTER as Disney Store doll. (Mattel's one looks like more an old man; i thinking Magnifco as 42 years old like his voice actor and model Chris Pine) He's my favourite male Disney character with Prince Hans, while i've hard to see him as a bad guy, unlike Magnifico who the best antagonist. But Magnifico is not really villain and worse than other Disney villains like Mother Gothel. (She's better as real villain Disney) In general excepted "Tangled", "Wish" and "Frozen" movies (because Elsa and Hans are my favourite charas of the franchise) i'm not a big fan of Disney works. Queen Amaya is too more beautiful in Disney Store version. But it's true the Mattel version of Asha is cool too for her expression with her closed smiling mouth and her eyebrows form.💖💖
