Italy’s classic Imola circuit marked a return for Formula One to Europe, and for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to winning ways after a Stateside blip.
But, the Dutchman, struggling on the hard tyres, had to work for it, with Miami winner McLaren’s Lando Norris closing in to breathe fire down his neck over the last 10 laps - and no room for error with the Red Bull driver one track limit violation from being handed a five-second time penalty. The rate that Mclaren has cought up to RB or that RB has stalled on its development progress with 17 races to go, Lando has a shot at the title.

Title lol sure but after 2025 when or if the Mclaren become Rocketship
I really thought Daniel would have a better result in Imola. I guess his chances of being in that seat next year are fading rapidly.

Peter Windsor said something very interesting, after the Imola race, that some of his friends his friends thought that the FIA / F1 management asked the RB team to Sandbag the weekend to spice up the F1 ratings. Makes us think, doesn't it. ha-ha

If Mercedes are still a around 4th fastest in 2027, Max ain't winning any titles with them. Lando and McLaren are already keeping him honest in the RedBull
Norris was pushing his hardest and didn't win his a joke if he thinks he going to win the title.
