Lol, they are both lack luster scents at best.

I am 72 and now wear Versace Eros full time and in all circumstances. What brought me on this band wagon was the fact that women of all ages reacted very positively to me when I wear it despite that I am an old, frail and worn out man. An important factor in all this game is to wear it on clean, showered and deodorated body and fresh clean clothes, fresh breath and no bad teeth, and of course no smoking. Great channel btw, liked n subscribed :)

Eros is actually very citrusy rather than warm, but yeah the sweetness does it in the cold but overall the Eros-line too fresh citrusy and minty. Sauvage actually has that thicker and powdery aspect with spices. Neither is a great fall/winter fragrance, they work but just working isn't the best gain.

Eros a warm Scent? Are you Joking? It has a strong citrusy note. Sauvage smells like an metallic overdose of Ambroxan. Nothing masculine.

Eros was the first “expensive” cologne I purchased. Been wearing it for 6 years now, and I’ve got nothing but compliments and positive reactions from it. Definitely my all time favorite.

All the ladies smelled the opening notes on a test strip. But the dry down is also really important because the top notes dissipate pretty quick and what most people will smell on skin are the base notes. Eros in particular smells awesome on the dry down.. vanilla and powdery yet masculine.

I always thought people are hypocrites with their "test strips aren't the same" stuff, until I got more and more into fragrances. The difference is day and night. You just can't judge a fragrance by a test strip. I recently tested Parfums De Marly Layton, and it smelled repulsive on a test strip, all day long. Just a weird mess of mint, even with a hint of licorice. I also sprayed some on my arm, it smelled the same for just 10-20 minutes, and then everything changed and it turned into one of the most amazing fragrances I've tried so far. I bought it. I would've never bought it if I just judged by the strip. DO NEVER EVER RATE FRAGRANCES BY A TEST STRIP! Worst thing you can do.

I prefer Eros over Sauvage, however, I don't think one is better than the other. I've also noticed Eros is the better crowd-pleaser in my personal experience.

@@Luca-rb2uw People say Eros is a club scent, but think it's much more versatile than that. It does smell "fancier" than some of the usual choices for a dumb reach fragrance. I wear it to the office, but only like once a week. Wouldn't recommend wearing it to work everyday. I hope that makes sense. Lol

In my experience, it's quite the attention grabber, but I feel like it would lose some of its mystique if worn all the time around the same people. I love to switch things up scent-wise, too. Different frags for different moods. I suppose if you didn't care about consistent compliments, and don't value variety, then by all means wear it everyday. To each their own.

Amazing content I like that you actually got a smell battle going instead of just opinions thank you for this. I will go for Eros first, And then later on may try Suvage. But this helped me make the choice easier

Sure . Today it is snowy in my town here in morocco. After i got out of shower i wear eros flame and for sure i got surprised by its best and outstanding smel and sillage . I get the result that this fragrance is very winter and so sweety in cold weather.

They are both 10 out of 10 and beast performance. Buy both and enjoy the attention.

I have the Eros and Armani Code Absolu and they are both my favourite perfumes. I've been using Eros since 2015 and it never lets me down. Definitely my favourite.

Just got the eros for Christmas and have have the Dior since last year

Just found Eros at a really nice discount. Sure, it's very popular and sort of generic but I wear whatever I like. I'm sure other people like it as well seeing how well it's sold. I got a sample of it when I was buying another fragrance and I've been looking forward to putting it on in the morning, it makes me feel happy and confident ✌️

@@sakshamthenarwal like monika said in the video, eros is better on winter and cold places. However, in my country (brazil) the temperature is closer to the summer most part of the year. Only 4 or 5 mounths is cold. So im tending to chose sauvage, but in a future i will get eros too.

I’ve never received a compliment on Sauvage, but have gotten many on Eros. It resembles the same “attitude” as Axe Dark Chocolate which younger women tend to like and older women seem not to notice.

@@RumiTheSeer Whenever it's above 80, I reach for something citrusy or "fresh". Sauvage is a bit too intense (for my liking) in warm weather.

What was the temperature that day? This can greatly effect what our palette prefers.

I never had the Eros but the eau frache got me a lot of compliments

I used to wear Eros... now am definitely going for Sauvage and it is summer time here in South Africa

Do you think Eros Edp is over sweet or cloying in the hot summer days like Ysl y edp? I smelt sauvage edt and it kind a bit too metallic for me

Here in humid Denmark, fragrances like Dior Sauvage is mostly liked by mature/old women. Young women mostly buy fragrances like Armani Code/Stronger With You/Acqua De Gio, D&G The One, YSL La Nuit De L'Homme, Prada L'Homme, Paco Rabanne One Million etc. Most of the young women here, would walk straight past something like Sauvage and go for something more like Eros, if not straight to the Armani shelf :D

Eros wears way better on me and my skin. Sauvage even though it's stronger than the regular Eros tends to fade after a short time. I use Eros eau de Parfum and find it is Eros' big brother. Gonna try Eros Flame next.

Hello I always see you commenting on fragrances and you seem to know your stuff. I just was wondering which fragrance is a "compliment" machine for dating and can be used also casually without it being weird. Versace Eros EDP, Dior Sauvage EDT, or YSL Y EDP

@@ullr1324 hey man, honestly out of the three, I would suggest YSL Y EDP. Versace Eros is a little more playful so I would not recommend it as an all around fragrance, although you wear what you like. Dior Sauvage EDT is a good all around fragrance but it's played out so out of those three, I would definitely go with YSL Y EDP. Hope that helps!

@@ullr1324 If you're looking for versatility, decent to great performance and compliments, I would suggest Versace Dylan Blue, Mont Blanc Explorer or Mancera Cedrat Boise. You can't go wrong with any of these.

I have both sprays in rotation with blue and the only problem I have with Eros is that it doesn't last as long as sauvage. Regardless both are a W and must owns in you collection.

Eros would be my favorite of the two but only slight because I also really enjoy Sauvage and Sauvage was the fragrance i mostly used in my last serious relationship with I girl I still love a lot even though we not together anymore she was the one that gave me Sauvage and since I tried it I always felt it was a really good fragrance but later on when I got more into fragrance I bought Eros and Eros is just a slightly better fragrance at least here in the winter but you cant go wrong with either one I still wanna try the new Sauvage

I've got both Eros and Eros flame love them.

I bought Eros only because I fell in love with the Teal colored glass bottle.

This is my opinion as I own both. Sauvage is for someone who's confident in themselves. This smell will punch ppl's nose. It has an authority personality. So this is great for office/business person or someone upper class. Eros is a lighter smell and it gives off a friendlier vibe. So this fragrance is great for clubs, or just hanging out. I personality would not wear this in an office environment unless you work with a bunch of 20 yr olds.

Hello Monika. Versace, Do you have the old batch or new?

I thought I hated Eros when I first got a small bottle of it few years ago. Then my wife just suddenly picked up the remaining juice and started spraying around in our bedroom. And when I first smelled it, wow the room smelled amazing, like some fancy 5-star hotel room lol. I guess I hated the opening and never bothered to actually sprayed on me to find out the dry down. Too bad it's all gone now after my wife used it as that room freshener.

I used to get many complements on my Versace Metal Jeans. But now its mainly Tom Ford or Acqua Di Gio

I personally love Versace Eros I wear it most of the time. I have the oil & spray for longevity through the day.

Well I have not smeled Sauvage EDT, but I do have EDP version of it and I found it to be quite spicy, its a very IN YOUR FACE kind of perfume, very masculine and you would think thats a good thing :) ... however for women it comes of as to agressive, so I wear it to the office or official meetings as I can kinda project that masculinity, agresivness and confidense, so I would not wear it on a date.

i got them both but EDP, it's summer now and she still prefers the Eros

I wore Eros to the casino yesterday ( 2 sprays); I got a few compliments and some flirting as a result of this fragrance. Impressive.

Long time ago bought my self dior savage eau de toillete my friends said you have lovely after shave on you. Love dior savage

I prefer the Dior Homme they changed the formula in 2022 and for me, smells even better, i had a sample from the sauvage and didnt like it, Dior Homme 2020 and the Intense version is what i used for the past decade, the intense version on fall and winter the regular one in spring and summer

You also could battle the EDP version from these two.

my fav fragrances are yet so different. 1. Versace Eros 2. Tom Ford Fabulous ( before it would be Bleu De Channel EDP, but after waring it for 2 years, and giving how popular it is, i got tired of it )

Cool water Cologne is the best cheap but super fire

If they dont compete beside to each other they can stand alone best perfumes.

I use all the Versace colognes. Love them all. Get a lot of compliments. For summer the ladies love Versace Man on me. Guys buy your women the Versace women's perfumes 👍

Sometimes you can notice how good the smell is on a car compared to when you actually spray it on a jacket or something.
