I'm new into fragrances and I've tested out 20+ men fragrances the past few months, generally popular ones only. Versace Eros has IMO the best scent combination - IF YOUR SKIN gets the best out of it. Monika's analysis is on point here... I first smelled it on a friend at a wedding last summer, absolutely amazing. I bought a decant of it to try out on my own and really loved its smell, so I bought a bottle. I showed my wife all fragrances that I tested out and she was blown away only by two of them: D&G The One EDP and Versace Eros EDP. My personal best is Versace Eros because of its freshness and sweeter drydown, because it lasts even after showers (not to mention on clothes) and it's just a flamboyant-any-situation fragrance. People say it's for clubbing and for young men - couldn't be more wrong. It's very universal in my honest opinion. If your skin is "right" then it's a 10/10! Test it out.

I have similar sentiments about D&G The One and Versace Eros - both are SO GOOD. I also agree 100% with you saying that Eros is much more universal than a lot of KZreadrs say. It's so much more versatile than "night time only" or "clubbing only". This has a playful, seductive feel that is much more about your personality and the vibe you're trying to go for, rather than needing to be young.

Side note: You should do audio books 📚. Like seriously.

@@Pablo-oh2hi If it was a cooler evening then yeah, but if it's humid it will become screechy and cloying. In the cold this fragrance is like the winds of everest, I've had people chase me down the street asking what I'm wearing because my scent trail left them amazed. Winter beast imo

I would wear Versace Eros in the colder months if I were going to wear it. As I've gotten older (I'm 40 now) my taste have definitely changed. It's very sweet and the opening is a little harsh I agree. I would say Azzaro wanted by Night is a much better clubbing fragrance now. Or even Mancera Cedrat Boise. Great video as always

I'm 29, I wouldn't wear it anymore, because I don't consider it accurate for my age. Too minty, too sweet that it can be overwhelming for an office and it projects a young vibe, so that's why is recommended (not tagged) for clubbing. I never loved it but it was nice.

@@kyzenofficial4 depending on where you live. if you live in warmer climates or weather, I'd rather suggest you to wear something else than eros. Maybe you could wear the likes of tom ford or creed.

Longevity of edp ?

Thanks for your input Monika! I personally own Versace Eros and I do enjoy it. I personally do not go to clubs so I wear it for evening outings, parties or date nights. I will say it's a mass appealing fragrance and you will get compliments with this fragrance. I know most reviewers say it's a younger type fragrance but I personally think anyone could pull this one off. Greetings from Costa Rica and stay safe! ❤️😊👍🏽

for me it's simply the best. i don't see another one who reaches the same level. i use it quite long time now and i tried others too but.....VERSACE EROS is still the one! I don't agree about "this is a Clubbing Eau de toilet parfum for younger guys". I'm older a bit already but its going perfectly with men in any ages!

Really like the smell of Eros especially when it warms and after you wear it awhile. I have to admit I have an older bottle and it smells off. Think it helps to store colognes in a cooler spot.

For what you can pick them up for, I feel that you get a lot of fragrance from Versace in general. This one is no exception. I put Eros in the same category as JPG Le Male. I own both. They both project well and do what they do in a bar/club type of setting fairly well.

Love the way you describe it with your lovely accent. Back in the day versace eros was my favourite fragrance, when i'm 20s that was so amazing and women love it. Not so versatile in my oppinion but has a magic in other dimension. Thanks monica, love from indonesia ❤👍

@@CloudOmegaVII I like looots, but my favourite ones would be ultra male by jean paul gaultier, versace pour homme or dylan blue, Blue de chanel, chanel allure sport extreme, dior pour homme ... but depends what u like, everybody has different taste. If u like somethin stronger go for different one like Angel men pure malt creation, or Spice bomb victor & ralph... 😊 I just made video on my channel about my top sexy mens perfumes if u like hav a look 👍🏼 💕

Sooo I'm just getting started with fragrances and eros is my first one. I pretty much agree with everything. Funny thing is, I'm like the anti clubber, more of a chill silent guy and just wore this to office today. I didn't know we would do a team meeting and I'm afraid I totally violated everyone's nose... but I felt like they actually liked it. But yeah, it's a quite strong, long lasting and interesting scent. Worn in moderation however I think you could definitely pull it off in other settings than clubs too.

I agree with pretty much everything mentioned. I don’t like the opening much & I didn’t think I smelt anything amazing, however I’ll let the performance speak for itself when I start wearing it out to occasions since I’ve only recently purchased a bottle.

I Love the Scent of Eros

The opening is better than the dry down. The fragrance turns so sweet after an hour plus. The opening is much more interesting with the Apple and citrus along with the mint that lasts a bit longer.

When I wear this cologne I always think of Michael Jackson when he was being escorted down the street by the military laced with pink rose petals and confetti during his history tour, very dominant but warm at the same time.

This one and its brother Eros Flame are nighttime go-to's for us 👍🔥

Eros flame has a grandmother smell I wish I wouldn't have wasted money on it

I’m new into fragrances and eros is my first blind buy fragrance and I enjoy it. I agree with you it depends of your skin like for example It smells good on my brother and not so good on my cousin. I also have JPG ultra Male and I wear on spray each sometimes to cool down the Eros extravagant scent😂 Ik it’s weird but Ultra male is more pleasant

I like it a lot but if wanting just a clubbing scent try out JPG Ultra Male or One Million Prive. Eros would be my #3 pick however and not just for clubbing. Good for a night out. I would not choose any of the 3 for a hot summer day because they are so sweet.

Great, detailed review Monika, although I would never wear this one due to it being geared more towards teenagers and 20-somethings. I think I prefer your older intro music better, though. ;) Kudos to your husband for the editing work!

Idk if it's my skin or what! There are 4-5 perfumes that I've tested so far whose drydown smell very similar to each other. Eros, Kenzo Night Pour homme, Salvadore F incanto pour homme, Bond 007 and a davidoff one.

Had Eros for 2years got more compliments from 1 million..p.s your voice is intoxicating😉

@@JyotishwarSingh I get a manly sweetness from this, my nose picks up mostly the cinnamon and tabacco, but it's not a gourmand cinnamon, it's a fresh powerful cinnamon, probably due to the tobacco and mandarin, never smelt anything like it. Its an attention grabber for sure

​@@owenjackson2388 Yes it is nice, definitely one of the best performers and good night time scent. However I find it has too much sweet cinnamon. A similar but darker, more masculine and even better in performance and projection is Invictus Victory 🏆 Try that and you will be amazed!

valentino uomo intense is nice for Club

I like the citrus scents for myself. I'm not a fan of the musky ones

I usually wear Terre d hermae's, John Varvatos and Hugo Boss The Scent I thought about picking this up at sams as well.

I wear Versace Eros and enjoy the scent. I've gotten a few compliments on Versace Eros but I have gotten a lot more compliments on Versace Blue Jeans from 1994. Versace Blue Jeans has a similar scent and cost only $20!

If you are handsome you will attract a lot of girls with Versace Eros. It's a bit proportional to the type so don't blame the perfume.😂 Eros so good!

The reason people might smell bad with this perfume is because they might have not taken a shower in 2 or 3 days. Once, one of my friends haven't showered in 3 days and when he put it on, it smelled like old clothes. The next day, he took a shower and this time, it smelled amazing, so make sure you stay clean, before wearing this. Eros kinda demands a clean skin to be on!

It’s definitely not for everyone. Scent was very annoying to me and I couldn’t wash it off fast enough. Didn’t really feel it smelled like old grandma but didn’t like it at all. Maybe I’m just too old (33) for it and am more comfortable with not so in-your-face fragrances. Blind bought it and will sell

I prefer Dylan blue but Eros is cool

Versace eros does not react well with too much heat, so don’t wear it on your skin, I’m hot weather m, wear it on your cloths in colder weather

Please review Ch212 VIP black it's better than Eros as it's reformulated and very weak now. I'm quite sure you're gonna love Ch212 . Btw your newest sub :)

@@matyasd007 I'm confused between two although ive tested them recently side by side and interestingly black lasted on me for a solid 10+ hours and on clothes I could smell after 2 days as well. I'm sorry Eros is also good lasted above average but I found nothing spectacular or ground breaking however black kinda gives me that vibe. It's funny how someone even said that it smells like success;)

@@Smoke_C which year batch? 2019 or 20? Eros has been reformulated twice. I've asked many people and most of them admitted to it. Sadly it's a good frag but longevity has taken a hit. I've tested it myself. I live in sub Indian continent and frags don't last that long here.

Well it's great, a lot of people say it's even better than Dior homme intense..

this cologne actually does remind me of my grandma - a perfume that she used to wear, and i'm not sure why or what notes makes it like that

I didn't like this fragrance when I first smelled it, it was too strong but The last time on I tried it, I liked it way more. I think I prefer Pour Homme and Dylan Blue for a Versace fragrance but that is just me.

This DOES smell like an old granda!! i bought it today and tried it on and as soon as i sprayed it, i thought 'grandma perfume'. it was 78 degrees F here today so maybe this is not a summer scent. i keep seeing ppl recommend it for winter

The EDP is a little different.

The ‘old people’ scent you are referring to is caused by nonenal. I’m so paranoid about having that one day, it can start as young as 40! Anyway, I’m v familiar with that and to me this smells nothing like, thank god you didn’t ruin it for me 😂

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I actually think I prefer Eros Flame lol
