DensShield Tile Backer is the first tile backing board with a built-in waterproof barrier. It’s the ideal ceramic tile underlayment for new construction, bathroom renovation, and many other high humidity or wet areas. Easier to handle than cement board, DensShield Tile Backer cuts and installs like plasterboard without special tools or fasteners.
DensShield’s waterproof tile backer board contains a fibreglass waterproof membrane layer on each side eliminating the need of applying an additional waterproofing application. This AS3740 certified product is the ideal ceramic tile underlayment (walls & floors) for new construction, bathroom renovation, indoor areas, and many other high humidity or wet areas.
