The City of Verona is a growing, vibrant community with many recreational, cultural, and business amenities. Our residents enjoy a high quality of life, excellent schools, and the small-town feel of Hometown U.S.A.
As many may know Verona is referred to as "Hometown U.S.A." This came to be in 1966 by a detachment of fighting men in Vietnam who adopted Verona as "the perfect example of Hometown U.S.A." Every June the city celebrates its nickname by an event called "Hometown Days" attracting all ages for some good summer fun.

"...growing, vibrant..." Uhhh, you only showed about three main areas, consisting of a small park, two business restaurants, bar joints, but as for the rest of the suburbs and houses, we saw...NOTHING. Verona is STILL a very, very SMALL community, as pictured on most maps, and from overhead fly byes by plane. It is not growing.
