Vermont's Great Flood
In November 1927, Vermont faced the worst natural disaster ever to befall the rural state. A huge flood destroyed over 600 farms and hundreds of businesses. The loss of track and trains made it the worst disaster in railroad history. The floodwaters reached 18 feet high! Archival footage and interviews with survivors tell how Vermonters persevered.

Might not born yet, but they put them in boat got out of there many lost lives on river, they were lucky the houses wer built fer Goodyear employees, all lost, no dams were on the river then, only few months between ma aunt bea ❤ this was Windsor Vt,
sure wish I knew why people insist on drowning out narratives with music.
Replay of the flood for my generation happened last week.

So sorry hope you feel better soon, with all this❤
Please lower the music volume, or better yet, get rid of it all together.
Wow. I never knew that about my favorite state. Such a huge disaster. Thanks for posting!
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior . . . Vermont is resilient and it's people so strong, and like 1927 we will overcome this disaster too. Many heartfelt prayers for the people of my state.

My heartfelt prayers for the people of vermont. I have survived three of these floods in colorado but now find myself trying to move back to vermont. I wish I were there now to help but it will be a few months. Hopefully, this transplant returning to vermont will be accepted. I hope to contribute to my new home in any way I can.

Had to be❤ way it’s always Been, old folks
Floods are 1 of the most scariest phenomenon's that do happen & when it does it is literally a nightmare beyond man's control.
I am a born & raised Pennsylvanian & we then moved to a small town in Montgomery County. When it rained the small innocent creek behind our home, then became a raging river. It was too much to handle so we then moved again to another Montgomery town 45 minutes further north. We were near a reservoir, but way in back of it, so if the stone structure ever broke, we were not involved in it at all, as we lived on the hill & thank God for gravity.
It takes of disaster like a flood.. To get people to help each other I don't understand why.. it never used to be this way.. just the last 50-years seems to be This way..🤷🤷🤷
Could have skipped the piano noise so we could here the narration
the piano music is too loud, you cant hear the commentator.

OMG YES
Piano mix makes this unwatchable. Nice effort, but needs technical improvement. Thanks.
