I am Vermonter, there are no jobs, the pay sucks, and, commies have taken over the state! It's a shitty state!

I am from a small town in india. I have always dreamt of travelling to Vermont. It is beautiful indeed.

Always been my dream to visit New England in the fall it's rich culture it's beautiful quaint towns it's spectacular foliage 🍁

Despite the high taxes and all the things that have gone haywire with Vermont, this incredible video illustrates the main reason I choose to stay. It's home and through all my travels, nothing is more beautiful.

What a beautiful state ! My parents moved to Costa Rica back in the 70s ( when this was a truly safe and beautiful nation). Unfortunatley, the once paradise Costa Rica was is now long gone. I´m seriously thinking about selling my property and saying good bye and moving to Vermont :)

Honestly I love living in Vermont. It’s so nice. I find myself just looking out the window and admiring the beauty of the state even if it’s the same view I’ve seen before. The con of the state is it’s so damn expensive to live here.

That was beautiful . I lived in VT for 20 years I was living in Salisbury . I just went up to see my grandchildren this past week end .

Yes, I did enjoy the video. I love Vermont... I can't think of a better placed to have grown up. Do you have a job lined up for when you move there? You could do very well there, if so! If you move there without a plan of some sort, though, you may find it very difficult to make ends meet. Best of luck to you, Nathan!!

breathtaking... I'd like to live in Vermont one day, but I think it's very hard to find a job there, because the cities aren't so big :/ and I think there are few opportunities for engineering.

Gorgeous footage!! 👍👏Vermont born. Raised in Burlington I have lived all over this state. Manchester is gorgeous, Stowe is among one of my favorites to visit. Yes expensive to live, despite a few crumby looking towns, and not a lot of fantastic shopping places except overpriced Burlington, I do love it here. MOST people are very nice here.

Do you still live in Lebanon? I was thinking about living close to Hanover/Lebanon in a Vermont town to be able to do tax free shopping and be close to some "big box" type stores with a shopping mall. Can you speak to Hanover/ Lebanon maybe being a possibility if one was to live or actually reside in Vermont just over the CT river?

@@jeffreycenga6724 I still live in Lebanon and I go to Vermont often. The closest towns are Hartford/Quechee (borders Lebanon) and Norwich (borders Hanover). You can take either route 4 or route 89 to Hartford and Norwich is through downtown Hanover and across the bridge. There are stores with everything you would likely need in Lebanon with easy access to beautiful surrounding areas.

My favorate state

I live in New York City. Sometimes I wonder if I should move to New England, especially Vermont. It's just so lush and beautiful and green up there. I would definitely miss all the diversity and things to do down here. But I would DEFINITELY not miss the crazy high rents, the high prices for everything, the crowds, the constant noise, the dirt. It sure does look peaceful, very cheap and extremely picturesque up there...

Vermont actually has a high cost of living, especially considering what jobs tend to pay. Restaurants and transportation are just as expensive as NYC, it costs a lot to get goods up here because we are in a remote area. Come on up, take the train to Essex Junction and then book an airbnb, and see if you like my city, Burlington. Many many New Yorkers are happy here, like my whole family!

It is definitely very quiet, picturesque and sleepy. People are very tight knit and community oriented. This means that crime is next to zero, but also it means that people aren't very outgoing. @@jeffreycenga6724 Hello Jeffrey. Sorry for late reply but I was traveling and not as much online as usual. I moved from New Hampshire (near the Maine border) in July 2020 to White River Junction, Vermont (which is just across the river from Lebanon, New Hampshire.) 20 years before that I moved to New England from Tennessee. This area, The Upper Valley, is a great place in which to live and it's easy to be comfortable and feel at home, in my opinion. It is, however, necessary to be prepared for long, cold winters and about 70-75 inches of snow on average per season. There are ample possibilities for hiking, outdoor activities, snow-shoeing, skiing, and nearby is Dartmouth College with its own resources for information and entertainment. I do recommend it as a safe and pleasant place to reside - here in Vermont or New Hampshire in what we call The Upper Valley.

Wow, this is some truly amazing aerial footage of the beautiful state of Vermont. I noticed in some shots your flight speed seemed as though it had to be from a full-size helicopter, yet in others the field of view was so narrow that it seemed as though a drone in close proximity was being used. One of the many advantages of having such a sophisticated camera to use!, albeit heavy haha

I love Vermont and one day I'd love to go there.

Taking a trip to Vermont for the first time with my boi at the end of the month! Coming from Florida I can’t to see the change in scenery!

I stayed there for 1,5 years. Was dying of boredom back than, but now I have got older and realise how stupid I was. People there are sweet, actually as everywhere in small and quiet places.
