Loved the mechanical style of movement with Stormvermin when he fixed his posture. It lacked natural behavior perfectly and highlighted how disciplined (in skaven standards) they are. Plaque monk had a small issue with arms, which gave to his standing up a weird in-betweener as they were crossing each others downwards a way too much, breaking the pose.

I agree with the Plague Monk criticism, it was more or less my first time doing such a dynamic pose and it turned out pretty wonky. I should learn more about working with key poses and in-betweens

@@Janfon1 I thought it looked fitting considering how fucking crazy they swing whenever they attack me. They are also total spazzes, too hopped up on diseases and afflictions to make normal movements anyways.

You gave them so much character in such little animations it's amazing.

@@lumberluc Most AI blightstormers use it wide open, a player would be better are LOS and casting through wall cracks and the like. I would still consider Blightstormers to have the highest potential of all specials in player hands. Especially if the player controls the storm.

This is absolutely mad. Just want to say tho, all career previews show their full body (waystalker and GK both stand up afterwards), so my suggestion is to have chaos warrior do the same thing after the push-ups.

This is phenomenal, and probably much more than we'll ever possibly get with versus. This concept and the animations to go with it are very well done.

And we are here whit the alpha test!

As cool as this is, we will probably get pretty much the same as L4D got which was randomly spawning as one of the specials each time and then one being picked to be the tank(rat ogre etc) when it is triggered to spawn. love the animations though!

Same - regardless, fingers crossed they manage to put a twist on the systems established in L4D2 once again, just like they did by adding books, a fifth character and an RPG crafting/leveling system

@@Janfon1 I think they will have to add additional, otherwise the power gap is too severe. L4D2 did not have so many variables when compared to V2. Likely we will either get something like this, or the unit type that is player controlled with get buffs making them stronger compared to the usual unit in that difficulty of play.

Maybe vermintide 3 will have atleast a character from every faction you fight in the game A chaos warrior with 3 careers First is your regular chaos enemy I cant think of a second career And then a chaos warrior in all its glory A skaven with a regular clanrat career who turns into a plague monk who then turns into a seer (kinda like that skittergate boss who yeets lightning at ya) Maybe another skaven who turns into a stormvermin and then a warlord like queek And a beastmen who goes from archer to those armored ones and then those banner beastmen

Random Skaven can’t just swap careers to Grey Seer: Seers are born marked by their god via grey fur and horns. If it’s a Plague Monk, they CAN become Plague Wizards/Deacons because they got no time for the Council saying they can’t. If you want a Grey Seer character, he could switch Lores as his career choices: Stealth, Warp and Plague.

I'm stunned that this channel doesn't have more, MUCH MORE views, these animations are insanely good!

seem like a whole nother game, arena style deathmatch.. playable Skaven would certainly be a fun arc to play but much like the base game.. to take it out of that context, you can see why Fatshark are taking so long to make it... I love the creativity and its great to see the concept taking the process one step further to actualization

Its actually interesting you included Stormvermin Commander because not many people know that some Stormvermins in are named Stormvermin Commander.

I believe it’s a refeerence to Lawbringer in for honor who does the same thing in armor in one of his signatures. (Push-ups then points at the camera)

This would make killer DOC content

I think that they annouced the versus mode too early because they couldnt continue working in versus because they were working on winds of magic and they took 8 months to finish so this means they are now working on versus its a lot of work more than winds of magic because they have to do the animations skills whatever on the skaven and this will might take time and fatshark didint say that its cancelled or something this means it will come out someday stay patient.

I think the monster mechanic would work more like in L4D2 versus mode spawning a tank. I don't think we would select a Rat Ogre just to be waiting for the entire mission just to spawn once lol.

Lot of people, actually - the game is extremely player-favoured as is and trying to balance it to be otherwise would be a pain in the ass No wonder work on it basically stopped, or is taking forever to figure out
