And vice versa aswell; I have never heard Kerillian this.. caring, really. More often than not she plays the anti-social, angsty teenager but this time she actually warmed up a bit. Even if it was after taking another pot shot at Bardin. Poor fellow has enough characters yanking his beard. It's a miracle that he hasn't left them yet, even if Kruber is the only one who respects and is always friendly to him.

​@@oniemployee3437 Nah, everyone likes Bardin from what I seen, but Kerrilian's method of complimenting or showing sympathy or compassion comes off as rude and insulting. She doesn't mean to come off as that though, but everyone interprets her words as such, it's obvious she has a thing for Kruber for instance but her compliments often sound insulting.

Ironically, I think the Dwarf of the party is the least racist. Bardin doesn't really seem to care too much about the racial differences. Sienna may be the least racist, but she's also a violent arsonist, so I don't really know how much of that is tolerance and how much is just secondary to the pyromania.

Conversation done. Proceed to leap into the atmosphere.

A lot of the keep dialogue is very refreshing. Even Saltzpyre - while not exactly 'thawing' - still shows subtle signs of being just a teeny bit less of the fanatical zealot they believe him to be, such as admitting that he doesn't actually distrust Sienna, just the fragile control she has over her actual power, and holding a casual conversation with her about returning to the magi. Here you can see Kerrilian still taking a dig at Bardin but doing it a more sympathetic, borderline 'kind' way. Kerillian often doesn't care what the 'mayflies' get up to yet will casually ask Kruber if he doesn't miss his old soldiering life (and he surprises her + makes her laugh with the answer). Man I love these characters.

Well, even slayers don't seek death for death's sake. Sometimes they find what they're really after before death finds them. Unfortunately for Bardin, khazalid lexicon doesn't contain "forgiveness".

@@MrSamulai Well spoke dawi, these Manlings would do well to remember Malakai Makaisson, who took the slayer oath to present a middle finger to those who would deny him what he though of as engineering freedom.

That's her way of saying "How about side by side with a friend? :)"

Wish there was a mod where all the characters a still present in the keep, but just standing around in their "lean" poses. Just so we can hear dialogue, even if there's no other player.

Jesus, That's the only time I've heard Bardin being that serious and dark. Like I wouldn't doubt that her life was at risk right there.

All jokes aside, she came within a quarter of an inch from being a grudge.

that's actually kinda sad.

This was oddly touching... But Bardin sounded legit pissed when he suggested she choose her next words with care.

Excellent writers and excellent voice actors go a long way

There is no doubt in my mind that if Kerillian had insulted Bardin then then he would have attacked her.

Love these character interactions. It would be great to see a video with all of them.

I guess you guys have a point, I remember it was a long debate between Scottish, Northern Irish, Welsh, etc.. until Alix Wilton Regan confirmed herself that Kerilian is mainly scottish , "with some liberties" cheers^^

bro the "do i know what an elf thinks, no one does" part is underrated

And then you realize that she's in the same situation herself. She really was just trying to connect with him, be a friend on common grounds.

He looks like he's taken the slayer's oath, so it should be obvious what he's seeking.

I think they chose that accent because wood elves are kinda inspired by the celts, or at least to how the celts are perceived in pop culture, plus some elvish stuff That's just a hypothesis of mine, I don't know if that was the case, considering the existance of Albion, but still

@@ShrimpGaslight one year late but the dwarf doesn't have a Scottish accent, that's a Northern English accent. I say this as someone from Northern England. And the Elf have the Scottish accent, I say this as someone who has family up in Scotland.
