I had the 30 for almost 4 years. Just upgraded to the 382. World of difference. Little longer same width but the HP increase makes my 2 hour stumps now 30 min. 30 does get into more spots and isnt as expensive. Happy grinding!!!

I just rented one of these at Yukon Equipment up here in Alaska and it works great! $400.00 for the entire weekend and I knocked out a bunch of stumps.

Stump grinder work is tiring with the wrong machine. Hope you are still running the sawmill. Plenty of food for the mill by running a tree seevice.

I would recommend a vermeer 252 to start. Going to be the cheap mid sized grinder to start with.

Every job is different, it all depends on a lot of variables. A stump like this I had easy access to it I charge around 200. Give or take.

Have a Rayco 1672 dxh, for 30 yrs now. Fast, powerful machine. Had to rent this same Vermeer today. If I owned a Vermeer, first thing I would do, is cut off the front handlebar over the wheel.

@@brettblack7049 the machine runs great, on the large stumps it is a little under powered. But the really large grinders throw rocks and make a huge mess. I would recommend this to anyone looking to remove a stump with buildings or road ways near by. Still need to be aware of rocks but its not as bad. Hope this helps.
