Visible, Verizon's prepaid brand, is now admitting there is a problem with their network that is capping the download speeds of some customers to 200 Mbps.
The problem, according to the Visible blog post addressing it, was an inadvertent holdover from the now-retired Party Pay Visible plans that did have a 200Mbps speed cap. Visible figured out why the cap was still affecting some customers on current plans and stated that the 200 Mbps cap would be removed for affected customers by March 1st, 2024.
