Veritas dowel and tenon cutter - Unboxing and first use
Just got my Veritas dowel and tenon cutter. This is the video of the unbox as well as the first use.

This is a really simple way to make dowels or pegs for your woodworking project. The only downside is that it's a fixed size, you cannot change the size of the dowels.
I'm really satisfied with the result of the cutter.

Have you looked at www.fine-tools.com/duebelherstellung.html? Might be some other tools what will fit your need?

@@WoodshopBygatan I see the make inserts for the larger dowel machine that they make. 5/16" and 11/32".. I'll probably go that way thanks!

@@FPChris did you buy the expensive arrow maker? I been thinking about it but the cost!!!
Soooo does it produce the exact size they state? Looks like you had to sand the dowel after cutting it....

I wouldn't say exactly the size, you can move the blade a bit to get small changes. You will probably also sand because it leaves some marks
