Dante is always a bastage to fight. He lit. counters your every move and keeps trolling you with what you can't counter so whenever he bursts I am just lit. running for my life and lost all motivation (concentration) from the movement. Dante is the real boss for sure.

This fight just shows no matter how strong Vergil becomes, Dante will always have something to block it with. That final attack that Vergil did and Dante Royal blocked it was epic! Didn’t even leave a scratch on Dante lol, I enjoyed this vid, thx for sharing!

this was pretty interesting, I liked it. believe it or not I got tired of watching perfect players, so it's nice to watch someone who's still learning

Let me tell you something that many ignore and those who knows they don't want to admit it, "the god like players" of those you spoke the most play in pc and they use the famous program TAS (tool asisted superplay) to do this "god plays" It is a program that allows you to design any kind of plays step by step in slow motion the player who uses it is not playing the game a machine does that insine gameplay a bot programmed from the beginning to the end It's a shame really like those cheaters "God players" they decide to deceive many people for no reason. There are few well known fair players and many unknown who don't use youtube or twitch, the only good player i know in DMC and it's not a cheater is IKevinX

@@vvendygraves9375 "just bad"? Dude did just frame Judgements Cuts several times in row. Those are hard to pull off just like just like Nero's Max Act or Dante's just frame Gilgamesh charges. Not to mention doing JFJC 3-4 times in row. That's a high level skill right there.

Finally a game where it allows you to play as Vergil and fight Dante than fighting a color swapped version of Vergil.

@@Desolas_ DMC3, I believe It's been a while, but I believe that's the one I was talking about. If you play as Vergil in DMC3 Special Edition, you won't fight Dante as the final boss of the game, but rather a colour swapped version of Vergil.

Royal Guard is basically a massive time waste since almost nothing can hurt him when he has it active

I like that there’s a struggle and it came out of effort.

That spamming tho at the end but I would do the same thing because I would have been terrified and afraid to do anything different in fear that Dante will hit me and it will be over I mean shit one more hit and it was over for him he was lucky to survive that attack and remain with such little health

true justice of how the fight between dante and vergil should look like, after all if you look at their status they are matched in everything. keep in mind that the events of devil may cry 3 took place within a single night and into dawn I had forgotten about that but it says a lot of how much these demons can take after clearing an entire tower and fighting each other 3 different times almost killing each other ever time.

When he said "You shall die!" I got goosebumps, the fight felt more intense than what others have shown before.

It would be nice if people remembered that people take time out of their damn days to practice at a *hobby*, and didn't magically become the godlike people they're so tired of seeing. Looking at you, commenters. >_> That being said, that was a little too close for comfort. Good on you for getting out of that even if you only had a sliver left.

DMC4 Dante is one of my favorite bosses in all of DMC. Just sucks how royal guard was implemented. Best way I found of dealing with it was to not attack Dante AT ALL when he switches to RG, run close to him and then jump away right as you enter attack range. He will switch styles and try to hit you. With a bit of practice, you can reliably make him switch styles and nullify his RG style safely, every time. Unless of course he switches to RG mid combo and one-shots you without giving you a chance to react. RG is like the kid that says "I have an indestructible mirror shield that throws EVERYTHING back at you", and my tactic is "ok then I will not attack you and we'll do nothing then. If you feel like playing again, you know where to find me"

Auran Crash Take it with a grain of salt. A supposed leak says that Devil May Cry 5 may be announced soon. We shall control Dante, an older Nero and Vergil. Supposedly, a final chapter for the saga.

I wished there was a mode were you can fight other playable characters, would be cool and make it 2P

Sadly there aren’t enough cool DmC characters to have a DmC multiplayer game. Or maybe one day we can make our own half demon half angel character

The should have added Dante/Nero (would say V, but it’d essentially be his familiar fight) bosses in DMC5’s Bloody Palace. Nero in particular would be very interesting considering his Devil Breaker. Would he have an infinite amount? Would the ones he has be randomized? So many ways he could play out.
