This is the first meeting of Vergel Memeses of Brgy Ginebra and Noli Locsin of Pop Cola 800s since the so-called BLOCKBUSTER TRADE took place between the two of them in 1999. Fans noticed that both of them were eager to prove something to their new and former teams as well as their new tandem partners, Marlou Aquino and Nelson Asaytono.
