I honestly did not see evil looks. I saw for the first time what May be a form of mental illness. But I also saw a man who didn’t seem capable of putting on a show of “I’m innocent”. I saw a man who knows he’s guilty and knows everyone knows he’s guilty.

5 years too long!! This poor sweet and precious son is so brave and has so much love for his mama 😭💔..and her ex husband seems like a wonderful man and a great father ❤. Im close with my mom and couldn't fathom the heartache. I want to give both this son and father the biggest hug! They are the epitome of strength. As my mom is my best friend and my rock THIS made me cry as I can’t imagine what that family and especially her son has been through and still continues in pain and suffering. Prayers for them and hope they find peace. I hope that criminal murderer suffers in prison!

The defendant looks sleepy and bored … unbothered and unmoved as the judge read the verdict. But then again, the devil never sleeps. Peace and Wellness to Jackson and his entire family.

I'm surprised that the judge didn't ask the defendant to stand for the reading of the verdict! I thought in any case especially a murder trial the defendant was required to stand when the verdict was announced!

I hope this judgment gives that young man peace in his heart he so desperately needs. His mother would be proud of him and what he has done so far with his life.

What a POS. Throughout his trial, every time he thought his defense attorney made a good point, or was doing well, he LITERALLY would smile as if saying “take that”…ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. And his cowardice was oozing as he was asked if he wanted to say anything before being sentenced. Good riddance. Love & prayers to Jackson & all of the victim’s other loved ones.

Watching the impact statements from the young son and the family has ripped my heart out,there is no words i can say to heal the pain and suffering as to what the family has been through in this terribly murder of a young woman. Prison is too good for him. She was so loved and I'm totally in tears at the heartbreak of the family. That he could so callously destroy them all in no time at all. Her ex is correct when he says EVIL!

Everything about this guy gutting the home and making it uninhabitable is just mind boggling batshit insanity. Was Shanti so smitten to agree to everything he wanted to do until it was too late? Dude made no progress in the rehab, he just demo'd and demo'd and put nothing back. Does he even know what the hell he was intending to do with the house?

So tragic for Shanti's son and family. I just wish the Bailiff would have handed out tissues to Jackson and her ex. Justice served for this beast.

How utterly tragic that fabulous, much-loved woman crossed paths with that dangerous, narcissistic abuser, and was conned into marrying him. Her ex husband's tribute to her, the mother of their sweet son Jackson, was beautiful and heartfelt. If only they'd been happy and stayed together to raise their boy. But crimes like this one are always full of 'if onlys'. May that evil, worthless PoS rot in his cage, and be entirely forgotten.

What in the hell is wrong with this judge? She couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge this creature and the devastation he's called to her son. Good luck to you, is all she could manage. I've never seen a judge give such a specific speech warning the court not to speak, show facial expressions etc. Quite unnecessary and unpleasant. Saying good luck to this poop was unforgivable.

@@Victoria-wz9ub The judge seems to do everything by the book. A marked contrast with people like Judge Newman, Judge Dorow or the judge who presided in the recent Ferriter trial. A bit of empathy wouldn't have gone amiss.
