Unfortunately these “trolls” for hackers seems to only happen for streamers. Ive run into countless hackers which are VERY OBVIOUS and i never see their guns disappear or bullets not do damage. Pretty annoying

Exactly. The average joe doesn't know someone who has access to "The Button". Makes for good content but its very much so a slap in the face for the average joe, watching these videos, because the player isn't instantly banned.....

Was in a game the other day with a level 26 cheater with 29 kills. My friend I was playing with spectated him and streamed it in our discord. This guy knew where everyone was, when a player would come back from the gulag he’d shoot them out of the sky instantly. Really kills the experience. Only way hackers could be fixed is if Warzone wasn’t free. People just make new accounts when they’re banned. How many players would keep rebuying the game again to keep cheating and getting banned?

I like how ricochet only does this for streamers instantly but when a hacker is in my game he wins the hackers still win the game

I've run into a few blatant ones on fortunes keep but I've also run into a lot of streamers and demons... Some times I wanna say someone is hacking but idk if the kill cam is lying to me, the servers didn't register my shots, packet burst/out of order, etc who knows anymore. Unless it's blatant it could just be a cracked player

When I get killed in warzone a lot of the time they don't show the killcam an just loads you straight back in, these hacks now they hide killcam from viewers plus they can boot players during matches an you just get a server error message popup even though your internet fine.

I've been lagged out a few times in top 5 situations, I see a few blatant ones too. I see a lot of people tracking me through a wall with weird aim too, but like you said the kill cams are so janky that it's hard to tell sometimes. Dead giveaway for me is tracking through walls instead of pre aiming, rage aimbot, and the 0 recoil all headshots with guns that normally kick hard. It's when everyone's using the NZ where things get really hard to tell. These no recoil guns are making it harder to distinguish cheater from demon

Anti-cheat only works for so long then hackers update how they're doing it, then the anti-cheat has to catch back up again, it's a cycle

I always seem to run into more players who appears suspect, or just blatantly cheating just after major updates, but they seem to fall off after a few weeks. Probably a combination of Ricochet working, Activision updates to block some of the cheats, and then people being vigilant to get those bad actors reported.

Yeah unfortunately these cheaters just keep making new accounts or buying other peoples accounts that they try to sell online or on Craigslist

ever since the new map came out the amount of cheaters has really increased. I've run into more cheaters on the new map in the short time its been out than I have in the 2ish years I've been playing on rebirth. It honestly takes the fun out of it when you're top 5 or top 3 and lose only because someone was cheating

Yea I seen that on one of expels vids yesterday he was spectating this guy and he was going in and outta of a wall glitch but it was worth it cause he was a bot and ended up leaving the game cause he was bout die in the storm instead of just dying and coming back I was lmao 🤣🤣🤣

Yes Tim... They are back and in full force. Fortunes keep last Wednesday, my buddies and I ran into at least 7 teams with at least one hacker per team in 3 games. We quit playing any kind of Warzone yet again as of that day...

I had a guy from inside a house apparently know that i was coming back from gulag and started shooting me through the roof without ever once having left his camping spot in a room. Never pinged or saw me and i was doing solos so no possibility of anyone else pinging me for him. Shits getting ridiculous and the game is being ruined yet again. Spectated him the rest if the game and his guns didnt disappear or anything so it seems to only work for these popular streamers conveniently.

There is a house on fortunes keep that has a glitch where people can shoot you through walls. When I look at the replay, it looks like they glitched themselves to be under the map, and have the ability to see wherever you are when you’re in the house, and they can shoot you. It’s very annoying when you’re in a gunfight in that house, and you just get shot out of nowhere.

I don't understand how hard it is to stop this? Simply have people need to put their phone numbers in and verify their account once they log in? What are the hackers going to do? Buy a new phone every time? On top of that have them need to put their emails in as well.. A very simple fix

Hackers have always been playing warzone and they still do, these hackers are all these streamers like aydan huskerrs symphuny zlaner etc etc etc. The list never ends. Because warzone is dying we see every day with world record kills etc etc every single day from a different streamer. Bot lobbies, Wall hacks, aim bot etc and they get paid for hacking and streaming that's even more depressing. This game unfortunately lost its glory. Because of streamers.

I saw a hacker get live-banned on Tuesday. I like it think it was me reporting them a bunch, but I suspect it was how they had 15 kills with 88 left and 20 people watching them doing the same as me.

The most simple fix for hackers is to literally make warzone cost money. Most people won’t make new accounts and spend 59 bucks everytime they get banned.

I'm always suspicious of these people with just two unrelated words pushed together like a generated Xbox gamertag. HiddenSquid, I've run into hackers with the names HiddenPants, GrumpyPants, SmartPants. Its the telltale signs of a new account that they don't really care about.

Ya Ive never had this happen for me in a lobby. Only streamers seem to have it happen. Have yet to see any normal casual player show it works for non streamers/content creators

So, as a cybersecurity major: yes it is normal for teams to “allow” (I say this loosely) hackers to try out the new hacks to gather data for a new source code for the anti-cheat. Now is Ricochet working as intended? I don’t think it’s as good as they hyped it up… for now. I believe it needs to have a newer version and then we will see it really destroy hackers.
