Every since becoming exposed to Tony (thru KevonStage) I find myself gauging the comedy I watch by who chooses the low hanging fruit for the easy laugh. When I first heard Tony use that phrase I was like those are the words to describe what I’ve always felt…many comedians in the 90’s recycled jokes about fat, black women, or black women in general, gay men and disabled people. So I love a comedian who takes the ordinary makes its extraordinary and makes it funny. I love observational comedy and I’m big on physical comedy. I loved Lucille Ball and John Ritter as a kid. I loved Nell Carter and now Melissa McCarthy doing all the theatrics. To this day if someone falls I’m in tears! Laughter is the best medicine!

Tony, I was at the special. Marlon gave me "special mention" in the last show because he thought I was blazed. I enjoyed my time. Before we got to the show, we were told by everyone, including you to bring in all the energy for this special so I think a lot of people were trying to support in that way. All of you guys were funny for sure but I noticed when the guy-I-was-sitting-next-to's boy came in, everything that man said had him laughing especially hard. Maybe it might be because everyone came for a specific person so when that person came on, and they delivered what they were expecting, they were more receptive to it. You probably made me laugh more than anyone else but I "know" you the most outta anyone else. D.C unexpectedly got me because I never actually seen his stand-up but I knew who he was from Daddy Issues. Shout-outs to D.C. Shout-outs to the dude from Texas too. He was good. The other guys def got chuckles outta me but I didn't know who they were so I might've not been fully ready for them but I had to laugh anyway. It's like sitting at the lunch table and having a new person sit at your table type politics.

When it comes to stand up I have 2 moods “amused & crying” If I give you the quick chuckle I was amused but if I’m ugly laughing (teeth showing and the veins in my neck about to burst) that’s when you know you got me. I wanna look like a donkey eating grass in response to you. I ain’t too hard to laugh but you gotta earn it.

I think Kevin Hart is in a unique box in comedy and the criticism he gets. I like Kevin. Is he my favorite, no but he is funny. To me, Kevin and Steve Harvey are in the same boat when I say this next thing. He gets so much flack because during his big run, he was everywhere and seemingly forced on us. TV, movies, commercials, stage...we couldn't get a break. Then he developed an air of I'm better than you, listen to me tell you how to be then flip and do some stuff that goes against his own words. With Chappelle, I think his love comes from his comeback. At his height of his career, he left $50m on the table to continue his show and went silent for a minute. Rumors spread and he came backcto clear the air. Then disappeared. He gave people time to miss him. But on the tale end, he is like Eddie in the since of he receives laughs because of who he is sometimes. Dave is hilarious but will slow the slow to teach you something before going back into the joke. Could be a pro and a con depending on how you ask.

❓❓❓❓QUESTION This is a 2-part question. Out of these 3 only, would skills would you like to have? Denzel Washington’s Robert McCall in Equalizer franchises , Matt Damon’s Jason Borne in the Borne franchises, or Keanu Reeves’s John Wick in the John Wick franchises? Only choose one, and why? Second question, would you pass on your skillset to your children? And why?

I'm funny. People laugh at me with me. 🤣 Tony you're funny you got it on smash with the delivery your timing is superb weather deadpan or over dramatic exaggeration I've bought the stand up special and the physicality of your comedy is on point too also you have tons in your routine that are relatable to moments when we laugh at ourselves. You been funny bro the world just slow catching up. The movie nobody is dope because it resonates with anybody that's come up from hardship into the good life and been tempted to go back. LOTR is one of the best trilogies ever it was required reading in high school but there's also the Star wars trilogies and the Fast and the furious saga the whole Marvel cinematic universe the Sam raimi Spider-Man trilogy the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy, you really think Lord of the rings is better than all of those ? Harry Potter included.

Funny is just subjective. And the moment objectivity is out of the window, everything is game. My wife will laugh at everything and I mean everything. I enjoy a particular kind of cerebral, random nonsense. It doesn't have to be a story or even need a set up. So for example, I can't judge a Kevin Hart special because that's not my lane and I'll never say he's not funny.
