    YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WITH THIS ONE. I used to be one of those podcast, red pill guys in the past. And looking back, it just makes me ashamed because there are so many amazing women in my life that held me down. It took the woman that I'm with now to heal me from the inside from all that bull that I was believing in. And I look at women in a new light

And it always be the same comments. “I dIdNt CoMe HeRe FoR tHiS”, “ShUt Up AnD jUsT dO tHe AnImAl VoIcEs”, “Im UnFoLlOwInG”, “UgH sToP sImPiNg”, I mean they might as well just come out and say “Do As I sAy, BoY” if you’re gonna talk that ish. I have good relationships with women but also understand that the refusal to hold women accountable is one of the biggest issues in our community. If yall aren't willing to hold each other accountable, who will? And to say that a man who holds women accountable does so because he's not good with women is SIGN language.

    I am a fan of Tony Baker because he is emotionally intelligent, intellectually curious, creative, funny, compassionate, and a nature lover. His perspective on women comes from a positive place. Also I hate the term “female” when some men reference women. It dehumanizes us and I have yet to see “These females” followed by a positive statement. Keep doing what you’re doing Tony - you are on the right path!

    @@TonyBakercomedy Good to connect with you G, preciate all you do. To respond, i don’t document these things when they happen, but I’ve noticed them from time to time. The whole Jada situation is one from off the top of my head. I try to be unbiased when assessing situations so when I started watching the pod and became privy to this I said idk, people be wildin and can be unfair so I said eh, I’ll have to hear for myself. Over time and different occurrences and topics I started to see where they were comin from. Things that you would absolutely grill a man for but are silent simply because they’re women. There’s some things that I can see you saying that for, but having that as an umbrella of approach regarding anything isn’t balanced. Even in this video, you speak on the fact that you don’t be speakin on women like you do men. That there is a big part of what people be talkin about. That statement in and of itself shows it’s nearly automatically lopsided. You explain your reasoning is that they’re women and go through things we don’t, the problem is a lot of people don’t think that’s enough of a reason to just ignore or excuse the things they do, and nor do I. Its almost the “black people can’t be racist” type of mentality that you may have come across before. We do and have gone through so much bs, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be held accountable when we misstep, whether it’s our own or other people of other races. That’s how we grow. Just like with your situation, I can see feeling that way regarding certain topics, but as an overall approach, as an umbrella, it creates an imbalance. Accountability and criticism aren’t somethin that should be reserved or unbalanced for one gender over another. People don’t want you jumpin out the window crashin out on women while not knowin what you’re talkin about, or at least if they do, ignore them. Those’re the people you try to lump everyone together as when it’s not the case. People, just want a level field and a fair distribution of criticism and accountability. Like I said, I rock with you. And to be fair, I know it all comes from a place of love and compassion, and to go further I’ll say you do speak on women from time to time. Not gonna say you never do, but again, it’s lopsided. Dope to be able to connect with you tho man, hope the next time we speak is on a lighter note. I’ve heard you speak on things that made me look in the mirror before and say oh, I should work on that and I appreciated it. Not sayin you’re gonna do the same here, but that’s where Im comin from. It’s all about growth. All love. 🤙🏾

Because they don't check each other on a lot of these issues, and it's just causing further harm to our community. No one's saying that you should drag black women but to say that you don't say anything because they go through stuff that we don't is preposterous.

    I'd like to know the Venn Diagram of people calling Tony a "simp" for women who think Candace Owens can't be racist because she's black... not trying to "whatabout" here, but I have a hunch we'd gather a fair amount of hypocrites up in that net if we took a swoop. I think what people mean to/should say is that Tony APPEALS to women more than most people/podcasters/comedians. The question there is why we have to see every single tendency as nefarious, instead of recognizing that HIS experience (for whatever reason) aligns more with women than the general male public. It's called balance, IMO, and not every ONE person needs to be a perfect 50/50 ratio of anything, it's about valuing the balance in LIFE. Once you start expecting everyone to be ideal for you and you alone you might as well just keep on worshipping yourself. Sorry for the rant on this fine Wednesday afternoon!

    Then by your reasoning, black folks who never experienced issues with police should not recognize those that do and should simply support them, right? We all have personal experiences, which mold us, but that shouldn’t make us blind to what may be happening to others in a larger scale either.

    Red Pill is supposed to represent an awakening from a time period of “believe all women”….”Me too”….and a time where women could get on camera and say the type of negative things about men that men would be torn apart for if they did the same to women. It’s a needed movement for discussions on mandatory paternity tests and men’s rights when it comes to custody and things of that nature but because the hotter topics are always about what type of women to say away from, that’s what gets posted on those platforms the most so their followers have been infiltrated by incels and it’s turned into some sort of toxic gender war.

  • @ericaalexander5242
    @ericaalexander52423 ай бұрын

    Overall its a gender war that sucks because their are good women and men out here and if you stay on the internet, you will miss out on them because someone elses bitterness and insecure and turn into them instead of living your life and founding out for yourself. This coming from some who doesnt have a relationship with my father but I dont put that on the next man. Also people arguing you should only have compassion for people that look like you is psycopathic, believe me before I care about someones skin tone if I hear a woman being raped or abused her skin is the last of my worries.

    Since that's the case wouldn't it only makes sense to still take the person away even if they didn't have nothing to do with it. When it comes to the women comment you made. I understand consequences and repercussions however if the person didn't do it wouldn't you be ecstatic to say see I told you so.

    A yo Tony Baker .... my only complaint is you try to make me feel guilty for my harsh criticisms of female leads in the MCU films . When really my frustrations are spewed from the fact that Storm should have had her own film all damn ready!!! Example : Black Widow film trash, Madame Web film trash , Captain Marvel the sequel trash , the Eternals trash , & the one with Jennifer Garner trash

    Tony does come off at times as a protector of women on topics but I assumed that came from being raised primarily by a single mom. And I dont think it means you hate women to want them to be held to some level of standard.

    I wouldn't say you a simp but you have Said things or let ppl say things on the show without questioning them and or they're actions. You can easily show compassion on a human level an wait till the facts come out, u also dont have to be a women to throw them on the grill like u do with men Based on theyre actions and what they've done and how they've hurt or did others wrong. Its about having accountability and calling out both sexes. I'll give u an example. When you were talking about a girl in your high-school who you hung out with who was in your friend group. You told her how u felt about her an were writing her letters. But she wasn't feeling you. Then this dude named D came around who already graduated an was hanging with your friend group. The girl starting hanging with D more an they became a thing. But when they broke up she tried to sit on your leg one day an try to get with u but you turned her down because u didn't wanna be her 2nd choice after u long established how much u liked her months b4 D showed up. You told this story to Sabrina on the show and she asked you did you let her smash? You said no that you didn't tolerate that girls behavior. But Sabrina said she woulda let the person smash then ghost them. You and Ahmer (sry if I got the name wrong) didn't check her on that. That's a trash thing she said. But yall just went on with the show with what she said was ok. I was like I'm done with yall for awhile. 😂

    I think Tony just know his fan base is women heavy. He fell in with the KOS crew which is single churchy black women as the majority. It’s smart to pander lol Can’t expect him to talk like Corey Holcomb. I mess with the brother but I understand they can’t talk how they would but the women hold the $$$. Get your bread
