Annie so we are now in Venus retrograde 2020, it started when n will last till when? Thank you for sending this to me bc as a Libra sun, virgo rising, cappy moon, already one relationship I really wanted just fizzled out Easter Sunday 2020, n there is someone very interested in me n we only became friends since beginning of March n have good times together and I been putting brakes on it going any further without really knowing why, he really is wonderful man n I wouldn't want to screw this up with him, so keeping just friends anyways with covid 19, we see each other only one day a week for talking n getting to know each other as well a DVD movie but I won't snuggle up with him n he want's to go forward, so I am making the correct decision I take it from everything you said so far, the other thing Venus is my ruler in Libra too, I was set since moving here 15 months ago to sell asa possible bc I'm not happy with my place, I began thinking well I could bc I haven't unpacked my own personal touches to my place at least unwrap n hang some on walls n look for bargains bc there's only a few thing's I need to be happy here till selling it, everything is in my fourth house n 9th house, where n what shld I do. Thank you so much for responding this, it showed me why I'm not happy here lol, but I need to stay alittle longer it seems so I was shooting at end of August into September to.mobe again is it that a good enough allowed time frame to go fourth than,? Great, Jessica :) and yes, I do like to prepare you if there is something challenging as a potential. I have seen over years of tracking this transit that issues/aka things we don't like, will come up to the degree that they still need resolution. If we have bee actively working on healing those things, then the cycle can bring amazing manifestation from previous work done. It can bring in many things hoped for in Venus' domain. Today is the 6th day of the retrograde, and my sister just went to pick up her brand new car, lol. Astrology could be so spot on sometimes to the point where you're just not fazed or creeped out by it anymore. I just splurged so much on clothing which I haven't done in a really long time - I don't even usually like shopping. Didn't know about Venus being Retrograde. My long distance partner just came back from where he works for the weekend. We met and now I'm reconsidering things because an issue that previously came up but was just brushed under the rug resurfaced. I had the hunch to just wait out making any decisions before I knew Venus was Retrograde.

in some ways, yes, but more just bringing a grounded awareness to interactions in the Venus' arenas. There are many things the transit is really good for doing.

I met the greatest man I have ever met while Venus was retrograde last month! We had the best time ever and we connected on an extreme level of ease and comfort! I trust this arcance science and even told him about it! He said he had the best time ever with anyone with me! I can't marry him ever? We have so much in common and enjoyed every moment we spent together! I was trying to be very careful with him during this time! He spent so much money on a resort last weekend and more! Hi :) how exciting! there are always caveats in ones personal chart that could supersede the general transits. If you managed to not 'solidify' your romantic connection, if you know what I mean ;) that leaves more room in the direct energies for the energies to gel for the long-term. But even if you did move into that part of your romantic connection, not all relationships that start during venus retro are doomed so keep the faith that this is the real deal but do try to wait until towards the end of May or June to actually get engaged, move in together, or making any other big decisions like that. I will hold the vision with you of perfect outcomes :)

Great video, Annie! What's your suggestion for the situation where progressed Venus is stationary retrograde at 0 Cancer?

2021 into 2022...For those of us that celebrate Christmas, Venus retrograde will be starting soon before, with the shadow period starting a little before Thanksgiving...can you imagine all the gift returns??? Yikes! My husband is a last minute shopper too. I'm going to try to purchase gifts early if I can, and for those I can't, try to be sure about the purchase. And receipts...saving all the receipts.

Hi, Uyanga ~ Finding work could be well-favored now, just keep in mind the term of the position may be shorter than expected and will favor types or work, contacts, etc. from the past over new companies or new line of work. A new position now is more likely to be a transition position but that doesn't have to be a bad thing! Try to get anything promised in writing as some things may be withheld. But overall, some great opportunities for work. best of luck!

The venus retro shadow period ends Oct.9th but mercury retro will have just gone direct Oct. 8th so the energies for retro dont completely clear until Oct. 24 th. the week of Oct.16 will be clear enough to start to implement some things. I wouldnt launch your new venture until the mid to end of October, after the 24th if you can help it.

maybe it is the day that the moon transitions from Sadge to Cap? that is my guess. the ephemeris lists what degree the moon starts out at but it moves degrees throughout the day so in one day it could be in two signs :)

Annie Botticelli Annie please tell me what you think a cancer sun sag rising about working on buying a new business whose founder was accused a fraud. May be waiting to sign deal in December if possible. The business will dissolve soon because nobody wants to buy it. But I'm getting this hunch to attempt to acquire it. It's a big business with a lot of lawsuits pending. I used to out of blue see myself as the CEO of that company before it was even revealed that the CEO was a crook who put people lives at risk. They are is blood-testing technology. I've been in healthcare finance a long time and believe I can turn it around. Please tell me what you think! I'd love to get your take on it.

Lol, it has actually grown much longer than it is now because I have cut it a lot over the last 6 years since I starting growing it out! One day I will talk about this in a book but you can see one piece in a video I made called Longer, Stronger Hair Cutting with the Moon Cycles - just search for something like that and my name on KZread and it should come up.

What about venus retrograde in a progressed chart? I was born in a shadow period just before venus retrograde began, so most of my life Ive had venus retrograde in my progressed chart (n still another 11 years to go). Does this mean when venus goes retrograde it has less impact ? Or could be positive? This time round the venus retrograde transits my natal sun in leo n my natal mercury too.

An abusive horrible relationship I was in finally broke up during a Venus Retrograde period and I thank Venus for this! Although we had broken up before the retrograde already but I let him back into my life. In some cases, if you get an opportunity to get out during a venus retrograde period, run for it!!!!!

I am glad you are out of it! but notice how you had broken up before the venus retro and then let him back in then when it broke for the final time during venus retro it stuck... that is different than someone breaking up for the first time in venus retro. that is why I advise people who are having to make that big decision to use the retrograde to plan and be sure because many people who break up during a venus retro will regret the break up if they don't wait until the energy clears to be sure. glad you are on a better path! I left a difficult relationship on the last day of a venus retro, it was the second break up and it stuck and I am so glad!

Love the topic of Venus, and considering retrogrades, beyond Mercury, is a nice twist. I do however have a vision of retrograde in which it is a great time to do things related to a planet's energy! That is, beyond the caution of what not to do during retrogrades. Part of a distinct spin on Astrology maybe, in that it looks at what TO do.

Hi! I definitely also talked about what TO do! and I agree it is great to focus on the energies at play, just through looking back, as a way to move more strongly forward from the review. Retrograde is a fantastic time to take stock of things involving love and money and work to strengthen weak spots and further support strong spots in each.

I was not so clear in what I wrote, was thinking about specifically this process of review, like an opportunity for a reorientation of, in the case of Venus, VALUES, that which underlies our interest in money and love, and what we attract through our values. So my 'what to do' refers to being able TO get the cosmetic surgery (for example) as a result of the reorientation... or maybe realize you don't want it. In this view the retrograde isn't a time "not" to do things, but, through looking back and reviewing, your resulting personal "update" allows decisions that are more aligned. :)

Annie, thank you so much for taking the time and do this video...You covered every aspects, but is it OK to start a new job? Or it's pretty much the same as in Mercury retrograde? Blessings.

Hi, Annie! I'm wondering about a situation I have coming up. I have an event early this October 2018 where I know I will see someone from my past that I've had a romantic interest in but it never became a relationship. An unforeseen event caused me to not be able to see him again for some time. If we were to start a relationship at the pre-shadow phase of Venus retrograde could it possibly work out since I knew him as an acquaintance before? How do I put him off if he's interested without me looking disinterested or sounding a little nutty talking about astrology and fearing it will ruin the relationship? (Some people think I'm wrong to follow astrology.) Or is this a good thing because I knew him as an acquaintance from the past? I would appreciate any insight or advice you may have. :)

Hey, LA ~ don't worry! your situation is exactly the kind of romantic thing that could work out. the fact that it never became an actual relationship is fine because the romance sparked out of the retrograde and is coming back in it the shadow. if you make it official in the pre-retro shadow period that would be better than making it official closer to the retrograde but since you won't see him until October when it will be retro or really close to it, just try to take thing slow for until towards the end of December. try to not make decisions like getting engaged, moving in, getting married, etc. and also feel carefully into the sexual element of the relationship because extra caution could still be necessary there. sometimes there is information that hasn't come up yet and it could turn out to be relevant, something you wish you had known before getting closer. but you situation could still hold a good long term potential so take the time of Oct - through end of December to ASSESS this rather than making the decision about it if possible. if you can leave the arrangement flexible as you 'try it on' then you can just take it all in and make bigger decisions later on. it is a fine time for something casual and fun in general. keep in your mind if you feel drawn to do something crazy that you may not be seeing clearly. I will hold the vision with you of awesomeness :)

It's funny he introduced himself to me back in early/mid February 2017 and I suddenly had to leave around the end of March 2017, where Venus was retrograde last year. I hope that doesn't add any negative factor to the possibility of a relationship since February 2017 might be considered the shadow time last year when I first met him. I will take your advice. in 2018 mercury is retrograde right after venus goes direct. I am holding off on bigger things until the end of December

To avoid love beauty and money issues for 4 months just seems extremely unrealistic and honestly this video made me feel sad and isolated. Didn’t really hear any good parts sounds like we have to avoid love and beautiful things for 4 months and if we do these things it will backfire. We are currently in the midst of a worldly pandemic and I’m going to have to start my own business in order to survive and make money, and I’m going to have to move to a new place soon.

Oh my gosh BWAHAHAHAHA I bought and cancelled a boob job during this retrograde! 350CCs, he was gonna go in through the nipple YEESH LOL I had to pay $1,000 for cancelling just three days before the surgery. It is perfectly indicated for you to be reassessing a relationship as you are. It is good for you to do this with just one major thing the keep in your awareness...venus retrograde is a great time to "try on" a romantic rleationship with someone from the past who wasnt a romantic partner previously, but try to avoid COMMITTING officially to a definitive label on the relationship or taking steps like moving in together, getting engaged, or married. If it is affordable to you that could be totally fine. If it is a hobby course then as long as you can afford it, Venus doesn't rule it. and if it is something for your profession, this is a great time to study and work on enhancing current profession or starting to train for something for the future. I have 3 weddings to go to this year, and every single one is during a retrograde or shadow period for Venus &/or Mercury.

Hi Annie, I love the way you explain the cosmos, simple and easy. I was wondering what your thoughts would be about on the other hand SELLING something big like a property or home. Would you be likely to get more money for selling a big ticket item or would it be the same as in the deal looks great now but later on you could have made more money??? Roanne Bonser Hi, Roanne! There is definitely the strong chance of the scenario you mentioned. It is a great time to re-consider selling something of value, but there is a strong chance that someone will get a good deal on it at your expense. There could be superceding things going on in your natal chart that I can't see, or other details about your situation that might be a caveat to the general rule, so it is important to trust your intution but in general I suggest holding off. Also a consideration for you is Mercury retrograde right behind Venus going direct. Mercury rules contracts and agreements so if you listed your high ticket item and there was a contract involved/closing date set for the usual amount of time (30-60days) your closing would likely be in Mercury retrograde. I have studied my own real estate contracts during this transit for years and see the many different ways it can effect these types of deals. The retrogrades ARE however, a great time to learn more about your market, check out comp's, review your finances/portfolio, and brainstorm around all the posssibilities involving the property. You may find you come up with some ideas that make more sense than selling it. That couldd be the way the retrograde comes up, too - even if you get a fair price for it, you may have a profitable idea after the sale that would have brought you more than selling it all. so I am guessing that if the stocks drop, like certain ones I am watching already are, then I should buy it towards the end of the VenusRx, beacuse they would be lower than before the transit started? Its already starting to drop. I know this is a crazy question but I am not really buying high, i am buying when they are dropping, then I will be on the upswing in Summer,right? Either that, or keep it locked up someplace, like in a lock box and pay for a box while it sits and collects dust...

it could be, just keep a close eye on them to look for signs of going back up instead of the other way around and don't put more into them than you are ok losing, just in case ;)

fake wedding, that sounds like fun ... so the officiant goes through the ceremony but does not fill out the wedding certificate?

I'm a Libra with my Venus in Scorpio. I'm guessing I should be especially careful?

Care is definitely a tagline of the transit but also remember that much magic can pour in from this transit, too! and yes, with Venus making its transit through the signs that you have placements it is likely things will be more apparent from the transit. Yes, it can bring challenges if there is something unresolved that is seeking resolution but it can also bring in manifestations that you have been wanting for a long time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. However, I am scheduled for an eye exam next week. Is that covered under "cosmetic"? I really need new eyeglasses.

hey, Dennis ~ functionality of the eye is not related to venus retro, so you are clear there. where to add caution is spending too much on a STYLE of new glasses that you might turn out to not love. I suggest being conservative with your spending on the frames, unless the amount spent isn't an issue for you :)
