@@skankhunt1017 I think I'm over it now that I'm 35 and went through some psychotherapy (for other reasons), but I used to beg for her approval and was usually very needy in my relationships. Lack of self confidence was a bitch too. She didn't breastfeed me enough as well, which is another source of problems for the child.

Spot-on again. Venus 12th house Aquarius - I remember when I was 5 yo on holiday I saw a beautiful tshirt with Mickey Mouse that I wanted. My older cousin, when she saw me liking it, she said she wanted it too. It was the only one they had at that shop. My mother said to me: you have to give it to your cousin. Heart breaking to see your mother priorities other people (always). Much later I realised my mother is narcissistic. My life is a never ending healing journey from the narcissistic abuse. I love chocolate. I used to fall in love a LOT when I was a child and later I realised I was yearning for love of my mother. I do not yearn anymore. I came to terms with it. Just the hole is still there, although smaller.

i stayed in a lot of bad relationships because i worried i would never find another person who liked me, let alone love me. i think we're drawn to unavailable people because it feels like what we deserve. and once in a while when they're available to us it's like ecstasy. if they're too available it feels like a lie and we can't accept it...

Wow I have Venus in the 12th House and you nailed it with this interpretation. I never heard an interpretation of this Venus placement that included the lack of parental affection but in my case it is so true and even as a man of 50 years who has been through a lifetime of intense crisis and struggles (as most 12th house Suns with a Grand Cross Chart do) nothing brings tears to my eyes quicker than the thought of that lack of natural affection from my parents. cancer venus in the 12H. Growing up affection wasn't really something I received often. I struggle with that now but I am working on being ok with receiving it and even showing it. I'm the queen of secrecy when it comes to things I like, whether it be crushes or even food. I really like the exercise you suggested, I will be trying that out soon. Guilt, fear, rejection, and longing are words that would describe my experience with this placement.

I am crying, when my mom was pregnant with me our family was in financial crisis, my father had to go other country for labour work my mom was alone in home pregnant and broke, she carved fresh fruits but couldn't afford. She told me she used to watch poster of fruits and wish she was financially stable ,she told me this and it broke me .

As a Cancer Venus 12H, I’ve recently had the desire to write a book on all the problematic loves I’ve had up until now, at age 26 😂 I’ve been through so much emotionally with toxic partners, and some who I’d consider soulmates. I feel like this year I broke a cycle and now understand finally what healthy love is.

12th house venus in cancer here.. As kids we always had basic needs met & my mom prioritized health, education & hobbies above all else, but because we didn't have much money my dad wouldn't let us have much new toys, clothes or video games compared to other kids. And I wasn't allowed to play around the neighborhood because my mother was concerned with safety. I was always allowed to be myself, but not free. When my mom died when I was young it felt like i lost my only parent, my dad never learned how to give a child love. In the following years I often wouldn't get any birthday presents (my dad thought having nice things was frivolous & he was forgetful). I would spend my days alone stuck in the house, which turned into the norm.. I got depressed and lonely, I felt undeserving of love & never acted on crushes or desires.. i often couldn't! Because I couldn't leave the house or do art classes or dance practice anymore. So I learned to feel comfortable at home and isolated, using day dreaming/escapism as a coping mechanism. It stunted me a lot & I developed anxieties and phobias as a child that im still trying to work through as a young adult. At the core of it my parents were great people, but my dad didn't know how to be a parent and I really think he needed her to balance out their opposite personalities.

I have 12th house Venus in Libra... startlingly true about feeling limited socially as a child and resorting to finding pleasure in my own isolation. I feel very seen. Glad I discovered your channel, thank you!

Don't concentrate on situations that have not yet happened. Anyone is capable of cheating, people usually go in search of what they're missing in their current situation. :) Always honor yourself!

Actually, I fear that the other person will cheat on me/leave me out of the blue. I think you are only prone to cheating if you are seeking external validation and don't really understand that when you cheat you hurt others. That's just my opinion. I have strictly been a no-cheat kind of person, and if I have feelings for someone else I would rather just break it off than cheat on them. Just doing the responsible thing and owning up to it, which a lot of people can't do. Hope this helps.

My experiences are, I had plenty of weird online "relationships" that weren't even real, so I don't even think of that as actually a relationship. My first real relationship was quite fun at some points, but I wasn't present for most of it. My second relationship was that my partner was kind of lazy and unemotional and lacking depth. Jumping in way too quick also..just learning about red flags and never knew what any of this was lmao.

gemini venus in the 12H. growing up, i did feel like i couldn’t really talk to my mom like that. actually i don’t really remember talking with her much bc she was so busy working and my dad was not present as much. i’m an only child so i did grow up with just a few friends and spending most of my times alone watching tv and such. even now as an adult, i do find a lot of pleasure in my alone times. i find that i do attract all types of people kinda, but especially secretive or dark men, like i’ve noticed a lot of scorpio men (esp scorpio suns). i’ve also attracted men who are in relationships and just not available bc of long distance or emotionally unavailable etc. i don’t really commit (i’ve only been in a relationship with 2 men my whole life), but when i do, i really do love hard and find myself giving so much of me. both relationships have been on and off for years LMAO and both have been with scorpio suns who just had this really dark energy to them. funny enough, both relationships ultimately ended the same way: both men left me for other women lmaooo. but yeah, just overall had bad luck with love. this video definitely explained a lot as to why

My twin always said that she felt (intuitively) that she hogged all the nutrients in the womb… which, is food, and sure she had guilt and shame about it- and I am the smaller twin. This might sound trivial, but I studied children’s mental health in both undergrad and graduate school, and I learned that prenatal care is vital to our overall well-being throughout life. It’s interesting that my adopted mom also deprived me of sugar, because she didn’t want me to get fat, because she had a period of being a little over weight as a chicks. I would say comfort and affection were very scarce in our house- along all of the other things you mentioned. Conversation was very limited in our house, even though both of my parents are air signs, and I didn’t notice this and get bothered ab t this until I was an adult. I started to notice that other families would converse and enjoy each other during meals. We just didn’t really socialize in that way, as a family. Yes, to the crush part-!Painfully true. Basically, just very bad at vulnerability. The entire video is true for me. I only create art that I love, when I’m deeply introspective & Almost spiritual… and healing. 4 of my planets are in Capricorn and I have a 12th House Venus, never had any difficulty with being monogamous and I don't know where that idea comes from. This isn't the first video I've seen that's hinted at this when it comes to 12th House Venus, especially women, we get painted as hussies when we have this placement when more often than not we're the ones being targeted by people who aren't satisfied with just one partner.

Queen omg I LOVE being alone too. I just love my own company. This is the best interpretation for Venus in the 12th. I've experienced both types of relationships and I think I still do. I have Venus in Virgo trining my Saturn, so I consider myself monogamous but I did have a secret affair and the feeling of guilt was killing me.

Yea don’t bother spending on an Aquarius. Nothing makes us feel better and I mean nothing. Aquarius, being the most dark. You need to be a KING (LEO). To keep one! Wow. So much resonates. Restricted affection from mother. As a child - being restricted to get what I asked for regarding material things (we were poor). Every past relationship was exactly how you described - at either at one end or the other of the spectrum. Such that I've not been in a relationship for 14 years. I think I sort of gave up. Money has always been fleeting too. I've been on a journey of self-healing for 14 years though (got sober from alcohol addiction) and am very spiritual and content in my life so I sometimes think I might be best staying solo. Same. Venus in Taurus 12h. I married my first serious boyfriend who was 7 years older than me. He first proposed on my 19th bday and then broke up with me a day later. We were apart for 3 years. When I returned home, we started dating again. He was always on the fence about whether or not he wanted to commit to me. We finally married and he neglected me almost totally except for wanting sex every night. It was soul killing and I turned to religion to understand what was happening and to have hope. I finally met a friend and coworker of his after 15 years of marriage who was single and looking for love. I received a vision that he would be my next husband. I wrestled with this message for about a month before the moment came when the friend accidentally called me and was leaving town. I told him he shouldn’t leave because he would be my next husband. And he stayed. And that night I told my first husband what was happening and we divorced. The guilt from causing him pain is crushing. Even though I gave him over a decade to be a good husband to me. I am still working through this. My relationship with my new husband is very good to me and loving, but does have a marijuana addiction and has many other addictions ♥️

It showed up for me as having a reckless, toxic, pick-me mother who prioritized her chaotic love life over her children. I was always bouncing from school to school, having to move because of her love affairs. She didn’t actually want children, but would have them as a means of trying to keep whatever man she was with around at the time. She was very insecure and became abusive towards me when I started developing into womanhood. She would meet up with men, drag me on dates with her, and then say things like “we’re mother and daughter but people say that we’re more like sisters” because she felt threatened by my youth. She met a man at a park once. He turned out to be a predator, made some inappropriate comments towards me while I was swinging on the swings, so we left. Then she got upset that I got more sexual attention than she did. I was 11 at the time. She wouldn’t want to buy me new clothes, makeup, etc because she didn’t want me to be prettier than her. She even went so far as to neglect my dental health, even though braces were free with her insurance, and now I have to pay 12 grand to get my misalignment corrected as an adult. When I started dating and bringing boyfriends home to meet her, she would always try to get them sexually interested in her with seemingly innocuous comments like “I’m glad you called before stopping by. I just got out of the shower and was running around the house naked.”

I am a Capricorn Sun, Aqua Moon and Sag Rising with my Venus in the 12th house and my Venus is in Scorpio too, in my natal chart i have a mixed of exalted placements and extremely hard and challenging placements as well, I grew up in a very abusive family ( horror house ), that having my Mars square my Pluto! my father, mother and my older brother beats me to their delight, at a young age i was always yearning for my mother's affection and care, she's a pisces sun, my father is a Cap sun too and my brother is a Cancer sun, so all 3 of them really traumatized my childhood until adolescence years, but i learned to understand at a very young age that I have to endure the pain ad hardship if i want to succeed in my future plans and keep my laser focus towards my goal, to finish my studies and leave that house as soon as i will graduate from college. Fast forward, i have never felt sooo good after i got my freedom, working and living far from them and got my own earning, it's the sweetest reward i reaped after not quitting the battle which i endured alone and in silence, without bothering anyone of how i feel deep inside, how broken i was, i had a very tough life during my childhood days, that feeling that you always question your existence, like you feel that you are not their real child? like you're an adopted one? But yeah, i think that what makes me every stronger as i was growing up, becoming totally independent despite feeling caged up in the house. insiiightful! my venus is in taurus 12th house - & yeah there are parts of me connecting my second rs to my first rs in a karma kind of way. i also find it really hard to express what i want in a partner or what i want from the partner esp when being asked - i just zone out. i doubt that i cld even ask for things like that? i still dont see how i can in the future and rs just in general is somethg i want to stay away from now. i do see how i have a ton of soulmates in friends who meet some of my needs after leaving a rs. and yes my most transformative moment in finding peace always comes from looking inwards after a rs ends. somethg i cling on to that feeling cos i somehow write better thoughts when i hold on to the strains of the rs. thank u for this video - will do the exercise for this venus retrograde!

Venus in the 12th house- Sag, rising sign- You could not have been more right- restricted sweets by my parents, not getting the gifts I wanted, we did very little things that I loved like beach, or carnivals- led me to feel not worthy of what I wanted. KZread algorithms are so interesting! My birthday is this week, and I guess spirit knows I’m doing some self reflecting. I have a cancer stellium in my 12th house. Growing up I always felt like my family never really liked me. My feelings were always misunderstood, so I spent a lot of time to myself because of it. I would draw, fantasize (maladaptive daydreaming) and as a teenager, I would spend hours talking to boys online. I’m very secretive about a lot of things that I do as well, from the things I spend my money on to who my romantic interest is. Subconsciously I really do believe that I’m not really worthy of a good relationship, so I often find myself settling a lot of the time, whether they’re emotionally unavailable, narcissistic, addicts, etc. They’re always not right for me and never do right by me in the end. Makes a lot of sense. Venus 12th house should stay single for their own good even if we really crave love and affection in relationships - it's not like we are gonna get it, are we? At the end of the day it's a bad placement and all we can do is to safely avoid partnerships to keep ourselves safe because we come first and so does our emotional safety.

That's really not true. Yes there are limiting factors, but for to deal with this placement is to create better boundaries. Discover yourself and your love language. Mostly I would suggest you to be more close to people who are empathetic, not energy vampires. People who really respect your boundaries and not shame you to take your time. Avoid idealisation of any kind. Be in touch with real version of yourself and others.

wow..venus 12th house in sagittarius. i sure love all things sweet. and i didn't really feel accepted at home for being extremly sensitive. and I got into a lot of long distance relationships and I noticed a pattern to, in choosing my partners, wounded by their family, difficult relationship with parents, I suppose I thought they could understand me, but they were very difficult people, who might have hurt me more than done good. my current relationship was long distance at the beginning and he is a sick person, diabetes and a lung condition, but I do feel like I get the love, affection and nurturing I've never received before.

So true my Venus is in Taurus in the 12th house as a kid I always wanted gifts it made me feel loved and happy as a kid and my younger sister always got gifts from my family when they came over and I would get nothing and it made me so sad that I wasn't allowed to feel happy and have gifts too.
