i mean life sustained on mars will most likely happen in the 21st century so if you live healthy and your entire projected lifetime there is a solid chance we'll either find it or debunk it in your lifetime. ofc considering your age, but if you were born this century with luck and health its very likely. especially with moon inhabitance happening literally by 2040 with ARTEMIS let alone other projects.

Survival Paradox. That is if some sentient life developed on Mars or anywhere else when that body was habitable they would have thought the same. If sentient lifeforms exist anywhere in the entire universe they can all claim the same thing. The simple fact is that we evolved according to our planet not otherwise. For example, if life could exist on the moon Titan, it would have evolved according to the atmosphere and température of Titan. They would find earth as non habitable place, because it will be "too hot" for them. After all our entire concept of "habitable" planet is based on the lifeforms evolved on earth, which obviously developed based on earth's climate. Equally possible that in a planet or a moon like Titan which has atmosphere and a cyclic climate as well as organic compounds. Not saying it does exist but I find it an interesting concept to think about.

You would have to drill a hole larger than Australia and 10 times deeper than the Marianas Trench to expose enough core.
