Cleanse stacking will just be more prevalent and annoying. To be honest idk why they gave it cleanse, feels like just being unable to be damaged would feel better.

Another little tidbit is that if you shoot your ult while midair you fall faster.

Venture is probably the most balanced out of all the new heroes released since OW2. Has not felt broken nor weak so far.

@@sr_aron unlike wraith form you cant get healed or saved during it similar to iceblock but iceblock heals you this only gives shields. but you can take healthpacks so i would say it is surviving ability yea

I somewhat disagree to an extent just because they have full unrestricted access to the enemy backline but it’s risky just to do that by yourself. Other than that, i do find their ult to be very strong so that might need nerfing. But, imagine some of the comps like winton dive or Doom in general.

what i noticed while playing venture with a friend yesterday is when your teammate gets pinned by reinhardt you can use your M2 drill dash to boop the rein and stagger the pin to possibly save your mate

Theres a small "bug" combo with Shoot and melee. You can shoot and melee at the EXACT same time to not have the small time lag at the end of the shot before melee. If you use both simultaneously it works. pretty powerfull at close range. To be exact theres a OS combo with her where you jump full charge on someone, dash from the air and do melee shoot together. If you hit every thing its a one shot on 250 hp. The combo isnt even hard to pull off except if you have a bad aim XD

Most heroes got whole kit 1 shot combos.

A lot of heroes have a personal cleanse effect tied in to abilities. Sombra translocate, reaper wraith trader blink, maybe symmetra TP, Mei ice block, Moira fade, Zarya bubble,

That character looks pretty fun, especially the drill dash thing. The ult looks fun too, basically the same as warrior's Shockwave from WoW.

He says "a DPS that has a cleanse now" likes thats not already a thing. Sombra, Tracer, Reaper...

an interesting thing to know is that if you're burrowed and you use drill dash, you get it back 50% faster and also an important interaction to know that you can get healed from a lifeweaver tree while underground

I wonder how the game would be if say all ground affecting abilities interacted differently (rein ult, ball slam, this dive, etc)? Like imagine you ball slam on the ground and force them to pop out or doom slam and the uppercut from mining colliding

It's one of the first characters that isn't a mish-mash of other character abilities, but it's damn hard to play against since it's almost always underground and invincible. The few times it's above ground it's still hyper-mobile for the few seconds you get to do anything and you hope that an Ana can sleep it so your team can focus it. Rein-Shatter, Ball-Smash, and Zarya-Grav should work, hope it gets a rebalance before proper release.

I feel like burrow needs a tweak. Multiple abilities affect the ground but not Venture cause they're underground??? What? The cleanse is fine, but like Torb ult is molten metal, it should be damaging a surface level burrow. Then Venture vs Venture needs to be possible. Imagine underground fights like that? Crazy fun. Its just a moving ice block that damages on exit

I got potg only using they're ult. We were about to win then the enemies started pushing at once my whole team died except me and this other venture i used ult and killed all of them lol.

For sure gonna get nerfed when released fully lol dash distance is too far and often for timer and primary does too much damage.

I wonder what the nerfs will be? I reckon the healthpacks will be one of them. Maybe slight nerf to either drill or melee

I think Venture should get hit by Rein's, Orisa's and Venture's Ult when underground. All of them are ground-related abilities. Maybe some others too, like Hanzo's and Bastion's.

I don’t agree with the health pack because they cannot get healed underground at all so if they wanted to take away health packs, they would have to make it where they could just be underground and be healed at the same time would be more broken then just picking up health packs and besides health packs have a cool down

Shows how much they screwed up Pharah... The underground character has vertical movement ability twice as fast as the flying! She can drill every 8 seconds while Pharah has to wait 14 seconds to boost for a second time. They need to repair Pharah...

What makes venture good is that venture is LITERALLY simple but your creativity makes the character. And that’s the best part.

Queen's melee uses a knife, has a different passive skill for it. Now venture has a drill and she got a passive skill for melee. Now genji using a effing sword is just normal melee??

This character just seems annoying to play against. Will she be good is something to discuss but in dive comps she’ll probably be one of the main picks. I imagine she’ll have the doomfist problem where if they are really good with the character it’s oppressive and if not then they are completely useless

He should not be immune to shatter nor Orisa imo. Both cause fissures and initiate from slamming into the ground....sooo yeah im kinda not diggin the immunity. Its like Blizzard doesn't learn invulnerable abilities are killing the game. So he can heal unchecked underground via healthpacks, bap lamp saves him, kiri cleanse, and zen of course...and he cleanses effects..........................this game is for braindead players with no skill Officially as of today

I just tested venture in the training range and im pretty sure they can drill dash and damage through people and hit the person behind for almost the full amount. I think their melee can also hit through people but im not sure if this works in game or if its just a bug I got.

Imagine flanking as a team right side on 3rd Dorado point and hearing "Excavation Initiation!" In front of you and "Die, Die, Die" behind you 😢

Poor jay didn’t test. But you legit can’t even fire your ult if you’re in a grav.
