how do you heal somebody with the symbiotes like if a body part detached

If a body part is detached whilst symbiote is in a host , remove the symbiote via the upper chest and reactivate it

The Spikes from the Mod detach any body part , and Carnage was punched OUT of the symbiote , similar yo some scenes in the films
