One thing i like about this song is that as it progresses the lyrics go from being confused and scared of Venom to it sounding like he's starting to accept Venom and become one with Venom

It was a pretty shitty way of justifying Eddie Brock's victimization, and it got retconned on Cates' Venom#11. He never had cancer, it was the Venom symbiote gaslighting him, been doing that since they first met.

In Spider-Man Issue 800 Venom rebonded to Spider-Man to fight Red Goblin(Green Goblin bonded to Carnage) and in Absolute Carnage, Venom went to Spider-Man to get help from him to try to beat Carnage since Carnage was now bonded to the symbiote god Knull

First verse and choruses: Man, they got the mood of the movie all wrong. Second verse: Wait, hold on- Final Chorus and Verse: Fucking amazing. I love the way it actually takes you through the full evolution of Eddie/Venom becoming one, from Eddie wanting to get rid of Venom to them becoming "one"

Sometimes you don't need a hero to save the day...they just hold back. What you need is a monster so that you can REALLY let loose! The question I ask: is Venom really a hero...or is it nothing more than a monster masquerading as a hero? ...all depends on the hosts wishes. Eddie Brock wants to do the right thing and doesn't want Venom...but the later lyrics show a sense of acceptance, showing Eddie and Venom are better together than apart. Which might be smart considering who else might use Venom for their own self-interests...

I mean,practically yeah.At the start eddie doesn't know whats happening to him,and then the symbiote known as venom literally forces him to do the things he wants,and by doing that Eddie's cancer is kept at bay,making him immortal. So a song aabout accepting venom,ain't it?

I love that at the beginning Eddie is scared and wants venom out but at the end they are like brothers

This song fits venom perfectly you guys make great work keep that passion going. But I do have to say these lyric are haunting to me as I wrote something eerily similar when I was younger after discovering I was schizophrenic, after fighting with it and dealing with for so long the only thing I could do is accept it as part of me though its still a harrowing experience when you aren't just you anymore.

This song is me before i finally got on meds for my Anxiety disorder when i was 17 (i had been trying for a year because bureaucracy sucks). It's also my struggle to acceptance when i was 11 after I was diagnosed with it, Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD.

This could be cutted with the original story of Venom. The first reprise and the rap part could be when Spidey wore the black suit, and from 1:58 could be when Eddie Brock bonds with the symbiote and becomes Venom.

This song is so emotionally great. I feel like the lyrics just relates to my life. Because I use to try my hardest to hide the part of my that has fun because of the fact that my anger comes out whenever I'm having fun. But lately I've been letting my anger show itself to me and forming some kind of bond and relationship with it so when ever I'm in a tight spot and feeling emotionally or physically hurt I'll let the anger inside temporally take hold.
