Goshdang it, this scene was both deep and hilarious. I was all pulled into "Dang, I do feel for Cletus", when "KetchUP!" What a way to break someone out of it Venom!

Same thing happened when Eddie and Cletus were talking to each other at the church after Venom ate Carnage. But then Venom goes, "Fuck this guy!" These are basically the examples of riding that tight line between serious scenes and comedic scenes.

The best scene in the movie is the scene Cletus was in jail due to Venom's discovery of the graves of his victims Eddie: "Well it is kind of my fault he's here" (here being jail) Venom: "lt is his fault as he is a serial killer"

Them sitting at the table together even make it seem like they are friends

Venom is so damn funny

If Venom practiced he could have his own cooking show on The Food Network.

If they ever made a mini series out of these two I would get on board with it! Watching Eddie & Venom carry out their lives on a daily basis would be a great story to follow.

You know despite venom telling Eddie that going to see Cletus was a bad idea he convince him that they should go to see him and that is when he got carnage inside and we all know how right. So it was indirectly Eddie who led to Cletus becoming carnage just like in how spider man 3 it was Peter who told Eddie if he wants forgiveness he should get religion and that is when he goes to the church and Peter gets rid of venom and gets him on to Eddie so it was Peter only indirectly for Eddie becoming venom but maybe it was because Peter had venom on him who made him say all those things to Eddie. So, not completely Peter.

No offense to Venom but his singing voice is horrible.😬

Venom has always been a goofy character. In the David Michelline comics, Venom would sing diddys, save babies and was unapologetically fabulous. Plus they and Eddie were in a relationship as seen in comics like The Hunger, and Eddie even claimed Venom’s offspring as his own. It wasn’t until the 2000s where they made Venom a darker character, starting with the whole cancer subplot that was shoehorned in, though that did lead us to getting Anti-Venom and Agent Venom and Mania. More recent comics juggle between Venom being dark and Venom being goofy, so this portrayal is basically adapting much of the goofier aspects of Venom, while also adapting stuff from the Hunger.
