The intersection is what both A and B have. However, A' and B' are looking for whats not in A or B. so thats why you dont shade it in

A' n B' shading could be inaccurate.. Shade everything apart from the intersection or objects/elements that belong to set A and Set B

I'm sorry but are you sure about A'uB' and A'nB'. In one of the practice papers I did, the mark scheme stated that A'U'B' was everything except for the intersection of A and B. And I have gone through a few videos and they state that A'uB' and A'nB' is always everything except for the intersection. Thanks for the effort though.

I apologise, I have now learnt that A'UB' is everything but the intersection but (AUB)' is everything out side of A and B. Also A'UB'=(AnB)' and (AUB)'=A'nB'... It is a little bit complicated, but at least now I understand. Sorry for doubting you, thanks for the help!
