In question 3, shouldn't we minimize company C as well? take c=0, so then we have to do 97/2 -> a=48,b=49. Company A --> 48+2+1=51 Company B --> 49+1=50 Company C --> 0+2+1=3 so max no of participants who attended ONLY B = 49. EDIT: No, I'm wrong. 51 is not the minimum A can be. To be on the safe side, it's better we minimize A first, and then maximize b. 100/3 -> A=34, B=33, C=33; A+1, C-1; A=35, B=33, C=32. Then maximize b in the same way as sir.
RODHA is No. 1 KZread channel for cat aspirant it helps me lots in the journey of CAT. Thanks sir for your Easy ways of explaining each concept, for free videos content and many more... 🙏❤️🙏❤️
Max/Min smjhne ke liye... Isse best set or koi ho nahi skta... ❤🙏
Sir whenever There is 30 percent or more discount in Your unacdemy course please let us know . I want to study from you but i don't have 💸 . Please sir keep me posted. Your teaching style is awesome. It can change my life sir
I was trying to understand maxima minima-venn diagrams set abd found them very difficult. It is this video that cleared all my concepts. You are a truly a great teacher, mentor, near to god, thank you so much sir for everything.
completed this lecture and almost the whole LRDI series.Excellent set.
What a set ! What an Explanation!!
great set , will do it again after a few days.
Remarkable question Sir! Thank you for the explanation!
great set sir!🌟💯
Amazing set sir💯... Respect 📈
it was one of the best sets ,love u sir
Great Set ❤💯
Thankyou so much sir for this brainstorming set. Maza aagya.
Thank you sir 🙏🏻
Thankyou sir ❤
Sir I think q1 answer would be 35. It satisfies the first constraint of A(35)>B(33)>C(32) and we can distribute numbers after that to satisfy the second constraint as well.
@amitanshupanda8109

But according to your answer either g and e are zero or you haven’t distributed all 100…which violates the 2 conditions…1) g>=1 and 2) d+e+f>g

Great explanation
Amazing question.
This is very good set thank you so much sir ❤❤
Thank you sir
thank you❤
Thank you so much sir
sir pls make some more videos on this type of set as it is difficult to find venn D sets anywhere
sir for second question while distributing values to D,E,F can't we give E as 1 and rest to D &F so the value for C will be higher or rather we can give highest value to D it will increase value of C and A in this we dont have look for max but min, why are we not doing this.
nice set
excellent question. beautiful approach- See your own solution in DILR Golden copy
good morning sir
can anybody tell me the number of the video where maxima minima ke basics karaye hai sir ne?
Sir where can I get this maxima minima concept in detail??
Sir our answer is 36 in question number 3 but there is no option 36 given in question
@robinkotharkar7598
8 ай бұрын
it is correct, question is, maximum possible value of only B, which = 34. 36 is the whole value of A.
Hello sir in third question why did u keep a , b , c as close as possible still we could keep c = 3 or something lesser right?
@chandumouli9164
Жыл бұрын
Coz a ka bhi min value chaahiye na c ko 3 karoge to a bhi bad jayga b bhi bad jayega
Sir please bring more CAT level sets for 2024 exam
#RODHAFORCAT
sir the last question why can not we do it like the first question
Sir apki koi book hai kya jaise arun sharma ki hai vaisa kuch ????
Sir itne tough sets aate hain kya CAT me? 🥲
Why wont we keep small e=0, small d=0 and small f=2 as we have to minimize A?

Yeah same doubt😕
Genuinely thanks sir, for this beautiful difficult set, for amazing concept clearing of maxima/minima with such efforts. I just today revised the question, it really got cleared right now. And you said correct, after revising and clearing the concept, we will feel good about it. Thanks again sir.
15:53
In the last question, a(min)= 1 if we break up the 33 of exact 2 in 16 and 17. In that, A=66, B=65, C=64! Please check.
@robinkotharkar7598
8 ай бұрын
that way we dont get a+b+c=35, we are getting 32 which is simply not possible as (a+b+c)min = 35
Q 5 ni samagh aaya pls if some one would explain it would be great
In 3rd question sum of A B C is more than 100 , which is not possible , am I wrong?

ha phir toh answer max k liye 40 bhi ho skta hai 3rd question me kyuki c ko toh b or a se kam hi hona hai
@aparnabajpai9580

If c=0 and A+B+C =100, then we'll hv to maximize A +B coz C=3 (2+1) only....and so A n B will hv to take greater values....but the ques mentions that co.A is as min. as possible....so c has to b kept equal minimum i.e. 30.
you are wrong bro, the value is 104 becoz these are overlapping
These type of questions are meant to be skipped straightaway. Highly time consuming and prone to error!!
Thanks sir, extremely helpful videos you are preparing. 1 suggestion for sets like these sir, you had given say 5 questions, pushed our thinking ability. And as you emphasized in the video to watch again and try the questions, What would be more beneficial is that at the end of the video you give 3-4 more questions for such set, answer for which can be in comments, no need for you to again explain everything or say give detailed video answer for those. Will help students like us to attack such set comprehensively as when we replay and attempt the questions, we already know the answer and approach limiting us to think beyond

Revise 1 time, I mean solve 1 more time and then preserve this concept. After that solve new LRDI Sets, that will increase my Problem Solving Skill.
Hii
Don't know if I am wrong or right, but in ques1 A = 36, B = 35 & C = 33, which sums to A+B+C = 104 but total number of participants are 100. How?
@asthamittal3605
Ай бұрын
Yes , I think sir has forgotten to take the fact that 7 are already allocated and we are left with 100 -7 =93 to allot , ..... Sir has taken 100-3 i.e 97 !!
@siddhantkankaria3480
8 күн бұрын
104 is the sum of venn diagram A+B+C, not total
But the overall sum at 26:22 exceeding 100? 36+35+33=104????

Students to 100 hi haay ye to 100 se upar Jaa Raha haay kaise
Aur question number 1 ki minimum 35 bhi to aa skta hai jab ham 35,33,32 distribute karenge
@robinkotharkar7598
8 ай бұрын
even at first i thought the same but we have to take in consideration all needed conditions that are mentioned. So if it was only mentioned A>B>C, 35 would be right, but since we also have to take in consideration a+b+c>d+e+f>g, 36 would be appropriate.
@vardansharma6020
2 ай бұрын
@@robinkotharkar7598 35,33 and 32 are indeed possible , according to the diagram sir made in question 1 , take g=1 , e=1,d=1,f=0,a=32,b=31and c=30 . All the constraints would be satisfied and the value for a would be 35
@pranav5102
Ай бұрын
@@vardansharma6020 No. In your case - if you do a+b+c+d+e+f+g with values you are suggesting we only get 96 but in total there are 100 students. Thus still there are 4 students remaining that you need to distribute
5th ka answer b} 1 hoga sir...
Please tell me if I am wrong in my thinking - In Q1 itself - first we say that we have to minimize the participants in A. Thus we start with minimizing g and hence g=1. No problem But after this step I have doubt - our next step is to minimize d + e ( because d and e are part of A) . Then why are we assuming d+e+f = 2?? Think about this case: a=35 , b=31 , c=30 , g=1 , d=e=0 and f=3. This scenario also gives the final answer for A = 36 and all the contraints are satisfied. Also here I have assumed d+e+f=3?? Then why is Sir assuming d+e+f = 2?
@prateekbirthal9649

Same doubt, we want A to be minimum, so, d and e should also be minimum, thus they should be 0
