Only answer of Q1 is wrong by sir Answer of Q3 will be 950 because 250 people are not rejected and other 100 are rejected for both roles so only 950 people are rejected for one role

Q3 is given as rejected but sir said selected and used calculations 33:44. listen properly and explain please

candidates rejeced for "ONLY ONE ROLE" implies they applied to both but got selected in only one. 1) Candidates who were selected for Marketing ONLY implies that they were rejected for HR which is 600 people (only M). (Means these 600 people applied to both M and H but got selected only into M and rejected by H). 2) Cnadidated who were selected for HR ONLY imply that they were rejected for Marketing which is 350 people (only H). (Means these 350 people applied to both M and H but got selected only into H and rejected by M). This gives us 600 + 350 = 950. Hope it's clear :) Note that n=100 isn't included here because these 100 people are the ones rejected from both M and H. The question clearly asks us the candidates rejected ONLY in ONE role.
