Venice - La Serenissima, is no longer as magnificent as its reputation. Floods, political scandals, bureaucracy and tourism threaten the breathtaking city on the Adriatic. Among numerous other problems, the inhabitants of Venice are trying to stop the danger from cruise ships and scientists are working on projects to save their beloved city. But time is running out and something must be done quickly - otherwise Venice will sink in the floods and become a relic of long-gone golden times.
