This is the band that saved me. Death be to satanic cults people have no idea how powerful this band was at its time.. Even lead singer Roger had no idea how powerful Jesus Christ really was. This album saved my life and many others...

These guys should be ranked high in metal history. But since they were a Christian band, they will forever be lost in obscurity. Heavier than Metallica, and before Pantera!!

Caught these cats two nights in a row in Minneapolis back in 90/91. One of the best concerts ever.

I'm not the most Christian guy around, but I enjoy Christian metal, and I dare say this is the best Christian Death/Thrash Metal album I've ever heard. Fantastic🔥🤘.

I remember buying this from Berean in Riverside, CA. Insanely brutal for the times and good luck convincing the older crowd it was actually Christian. My church elders did NOT like me for sharing this with the flock at youth group but too bad.

Amazing that the singer became an atheist, but that’s what religion can do to folks. God isn’t angry, but religion says He is. Drives people away, unfortunately. 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God was reconciling the WORLD to Himself in Christ, NOT counting men’s sins against them.

It was Blood Sacrifice fanzine from Germany (1989) saying this band is one of the best playing thrash metal. Sure, it is. Jesus saves! \m/

I haven’t listened to this in 30+ years… surprisingly has no problem standing up to the test of time

11 yrs old 88' discovered this band amongst many metal death thrash albums, slayer sepul,exodus, etc was always impressed with this band they have a style that can transend the ages, id put them against alot of the original thrash-shred bands and most bands these days in raw aggressive style originators indeed, in my favorites of all time regardless their religious pov...

Larry Farkas was/is amazing. He truly had it all in this genre. Smoked any competition. Tasteful, eerie, shred, depth, tone... these first two albums were incredible.

I borrowed this tape from a kid back in junior high when I was into thrash metal. It melted my face off. Ironically, the same kid lent me Death "Scream Bloody Gore" shortly after. I am now headless.

My fav christian thrash band

I had both cassettes and never liked the vocals. Wished the riffs were harder. The Crucified rocked out as hard. But I listeneded to this stuff a lot. "I love hating evil" had a cool Ozzy vibe"

I bought this on cassette years ago. Anyone ever notice the flub in the song “Burn”? You hear the mistake 4:43 into this video. Martinez starts singing the next verse just as the song goes into the solo. He catches himself and stops. The recording just went on... After the solo you hear the lyrics he started prematurely. I guess they were on a really tight budget and couldn’t afford to redo the track?

being a christian is not cool. its being hated by the world. if they hated him they will hate us also. christianity needs nothing "cool" or gimicky to improve it. only following Jesus amazing life and teaching.

Destruction Comes was probably their best album. Roger Martinez's voice takes a while to get used to and I'd still say I don't like his style of vocals, but he really did know how to play the riffs. He'd also help out with Deliverance's song(s) and Jimmy P. Brown (from Deliverance) would help with Mortification and Vengeance songs too. Many of the christian band members would guest appear as musicians or vocals on some of each's albums.

And for a change the riff from the Hungarian band Tormento is inspired for the colossal demo from 1988 minute 17 con la cancion white throne
