people don't vote for violence. They vote of promises that the elected officials promises and once those elected officials get into office, no civilians can do anything once these officials are in office if they change their minds and do something else. THATS the part you seem to have missed. This is with any elections. NO ONE votes for gangs, crimes, violence, homelessness or allow migrants to come into the country or state. The ones in charge of changing the laws are ALL the NY Counsel members of the State of NY. Which is out of civilians hands. Governor Kathy Hochul, NY Counsel members, the NY Senators, Mayor Eric Adams, and District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Blame those government officials, and NOT the civilians. We vote on promises that keep getting broken by so many elected officials since 1979.
