We spent an afternoon and early evening at this busy station - this is what we saw! Special thanks to the friendly loc-driver who made the shot from inside the locomotive!

I love arriving in Venice by train. The station itself is pretty ordinary. In fact it's a bit scruffy. But you walk out the front doors, down those steps, and you're on the Grand Canal....

Es kommt oft vor, dass die Bahnen in internationalen Verkehr seine Waggons benutzen, sodass keine Umsteig benötigt ist. Es gibt z.B. auch Waggons sogar von Ungarn in Italien! In diesem Fall war es eine Direktexpress zw. Wien und Milan.
