I have a memory. A really vague one of myself, being anything between 13 and 15, changing channels looking for something that could catch my eye when I stumble upon a segment about electronic music in what seemed to be VH1 or MTv or something of the sort and then this shit started playing. And this shit played and I listened and stared in disarray. How THE FUCK was this electronic music? I come back to this song every 2 or so years because I forget Venetian Snares even exists. I come back just to be filled with this ever haunting feeling of nostalgia and greatness and adrenaline being pumped through my body. Ah... To listen as if it was the first time is such a blessing.

Searched this song for YEARS! Now.. I have finally found this song.. And the adrenaline is streaming through my veins.. And my hands are shaking! I never had it with any kind of song.. EVER!

I dont think that venetian snares made this break. The original version is also a few longer than this.

It's called Breakcore. It's one of the harder electronic genres to get into, but if you have a taste for quirky music that isn't as easy to swallow, it's pretty sweet.

I use this track to check every speaker amd amp i build. I uses many frequencies and it is really heavy on the bass. It helps me out pinpoint my systems weaknesses.

I'm here because of the contestants Roxx and Myth on the UK quiz show Pointless some years ago, a very likeable pair of goths. Venetian Snares was their jam, and, I must say, I dig this. @KarmaPoliceman158 It's called breakcore :) But actually, this song is an exception in the genre, with the classical influences and the 'lack' of core (bass). I say 'lack' because I like this more than the heavy Breakcore, with a lot of bass. Maybe you should check out some artists out, like Bong Ra and FFF. It's a great genre (check Raggacore as well, it's awesome) and if you want more of this 'classical breakcore' check the whole album and 'My Downfall', also by Snares. Peace out bro!

When this came out, nobody was watching it on their phones. Everyone watched it on their computer, many after downloading the video file rather than streaming it. It was meant to make you think the video was actually a virus, just for a second. Early 00s version of a screamer.
