It’s not for anywhere. It’s an acquired taste, needs furnishings to suit the finish. I personally don’t like it, and it dates out really easily.

You get it glossy by putting lard on the wall before you apply the wax

Great video man.... can I do this on exterior CMU? ....not looking for a erfect finish but want that gloss. Also what product are you using or recommend for exterior gloss putty look?

Is the high gloss sheen from the finish or just because its wet?

Before the material drys fully. He will burn the Venetian,he might have a different name. But the sheen is from a constant Trowel over before the material fully dries which gives the material that shine.

I do the same with multifinish.

It's a Venetian Plaster I believe. Stucco is exterior

Exterior means that it is for outside plaster systems. He is using a Venetian plaster. Which is crushed marble and veneer plaster(lime). Venetian is a Interior(inside) plaster system

Stucco is also the name for the old mixes. A mixture of chalk or marble dust and lime as used by bossi in the rococo era

No. If anything your forearms, wrists will develop some torsional strength, from the activity. I plastered for 15yrs, strong hands skinny arms!

you would need to smooth coat it first. Sand or any other loose particles will create drag lines through your plaster finish.
