Thanks for this, great to listen to as I slop off to sleep - then have to listen again. 👍❤

Me, too.Doesn't matter what the play is, as soon as one starts I am lulled to sleep. So a play often accompanies my breakfast as I start again, or finish it off!

Thoroughly enjoyable, and with enough twists of plot and sympathy to keep the audience guessing to the end.

Wonderful production, but the high pitched mechanical sound in the background made it unlistenable. 😢. Perhaps the audio could be cleaned up more?

Synopsis: The "best and fairest judge in the country" has just sentenced a "mild-looking, bespectacled, clerical-grade civil servant type" to nine years in prison for embezzlement. The sentencing uncovers long- repressed resentments.

Sorry but the convoluted premise of the play is quite bizarre ! Characters are cardboard and the plot is for the brain dead. Makes Jeffrey Archer seem like Tolstoy..!
