Y'all need to understand that in Turkish culture women give men such rings as engagement presents. Giving such a present can be seen as staking a claim on a man. That's why Dilan is so hesitant to give him that ring. She doesn't want to stake a claim because she believes she has no place in that family and doesn't see a future as Baran's wife. In fact, she thinks she doesn't deserve their love. She believes she's there to atone for her family's sins and prevent bloodshed. She believes they all hate her and at best not see her as an enemy. That's why it's hard for her to admit having any romantic feelings for Baran. It's simply something she doesn't allow herself because she believes she's only there to sacrifice hersel. She doesn't expect love and is afraid to accept it. And her selflessness while wearing her heart on her sleeve is exactly what fires Baran's protective instincts and sends him head over heels 😊

Thank goodness Derya isn’t there anymore….she crossed the line with Azade!😅😅 Baran doesn’t know about his uncle, but ultimately it’s all on his shoulders. What a heavy burden. Hopefully auntie has pulled the veil down for Baran and Dilan. I loved the scenes with Baran and Dilan. He loves her, and the way he looks at her makes my heart melt. To kidnap is to abduct someone and hold them captive, typically to obtain a ransom So where in the episodes does it show them holding the child captive or asking for a ransom? The child doesn't want to be handed over to the police because her guardian is a mean woman. See prev episodes she ran away from the guardian to find her mother. And she was not alone. She was with another older girl who helped her escape to find her mother. The girl went back and promised not to say where she is. Cevriye found her in the room where Ali used to sleep in the restaurant She was sick and hungry Cevriye nursed her back to health Bought her clothes Prepared meals for her, ate with her, cuddled her while she slept, introduced her to her in-laws Without ill motives So how are they kidnappers?

In any event, Cevdet and Cevriye had a child in their home who was not theirs and they didn't notify the authorities. There have been incidences where people have abducted a child because either theirs had died or they couldn't have one of their own. It doesn't matter how well the child is treated or how nice the people are, unless they have legal authority to have that child in their home, they are child abductors. When this happens in real life, people go to prison. The plots in this series are solely designed for maximum dramatic affect, with very little basis in reality. I think most viewers understand that but over look inconsistencies because of the storyline.
